We have been regulars for years. After our last visit 2 weeks ago, we shall not return. Party of four, starters were not palatable, mains were gross, in particular, I ordered Chicken Escalopes, what was on the plate was processed chicken breast in breadcrumbs, which had been bought, frozen and deep fried. This was no escalope! I couldn?t eat it. Ordered dessert and it came melted, swimming in melted ice cream and melted cream. All 4 of us had upset tummies throughout that night. I spoke to Anna, as we were leaving and was told they would look after us the next visit. Never again.

Place is going down hill. Ripped seats poor service, mains are thrown together and taste no better than a cafe or pub grub. Unsure if I'd go back after tonight.

Had reserved a table. Took manager 10 minutes to seat the 2 groups in front, no urgency.
When he got to us, he stopped and had a go at a server and told them to take a tables order. Then complines to us about the staff and moaned he can?t look after every table.
Only 1 staff member had a name badge so you can?t even pick out staff.
Server for drinks was great and upbeat. Sang our drinks order to us and interacted with our son.
Two pizzas and and kids meal took 55 minutes to be served and pizzas was just warm enough to eat, so must have been sitting for a while.
On that time we saw the manager look disinterested in customers speaking to him, he mumbled about things as we walked about and staff were at each other about wrong orders.
After our main, 25 minutes before a server spoke to us. And that was after we waved down, or tried to, 4 severers. They even looks at us a bit it?s like they are in autopilot. And more worried about clearing tables to get more customers in.
Then they have the cheek to add 10% on the bill for a service charge.
Even when we challenged staff about our wait and no one stopping, they were abrupt about it.
First poor experience in a Toni Macaroni, probably stems from the toxic attitude of the manager.

Tried this place 2 nights in a row while staying in the hotel next door. Although the first night was unpresidented due to a storm cutting power in the area. So it was rammed. The food is really good but the service is shocking. You can stand at an empty bar for 10+ minutes and be ignored. They put old food all over the bar. Under staffed all the time. Tables full of food not getting cleared away so wait times for tables. Some foreign staff who are very arrogant. Food is good but service is very poor.

On first arrival the gentleman seating customers is obviously overstretched & hence was not welcoming, not blaming him but there were not enough staff in place to let them do their jobs properly. Long wait for drinks & ordering, the management need to give them a break & actually put more people on.
When the food arrived the portion sizes with the exception of the Macaroni cheese was terrible, extra portions of garlic bread & chips were tiny as if the resturant was running out of food & the pasta served with the main dishes would have fit in a coffee cup.
The food itself was edible & cooked properly but bland is the only word for it.
Overall I wish we had given it a miss & will be sure not to go back.

Shocking service, left sitting for 40 minutes before taking drink orders, our party didn't receive the food together and the food wasn't eaten as it was below average, as for the staff, none of them spoke, smiled, everything just seemed like an effort, for spending £130 we will never be back.

Having been here many occasions. We find that the quality of the food varies on different days.
Haven't been dined in for the last 3/4 months. On this visit.........
We found the pasta dishes lacking in seasoning. The lasagne has shrunk from the last time we ordered it. The carbonara not as creamy, less sauce
The pizzas we ordered were good and had a nice chew to the base. The same standard that we are use to.
I ordered the chicken in the spicy tomato sauce. Found the chicken was over cooked ,stringy and dry. The chips were a little under fried.
The service was basic , not sure if that was due to the restaurant being quite busy. When our server approached our table with the Parmesan cheese he asked everyone who had a pasta dish if they would like cheese barr me. Not sure if it's not common to have it on the chicken tomato dish, but I have always been asked on my other visits. I had to get up from the table and ask another waiter for parmesan cheese as well as sauces for my chips .
We were in an out in under an hour just for mains from 530pm
Service charge has increased to 10% , prev it was 7.5%. And was automatically applied to our bill, and does not state that is optional like prev.
Over all ok food, but service was meh

Booked a table for 6 for a business Christmas lunch. Their website Demanded a £60 deposit which I had no issue with. On the day of our meal the food was good (despite the grizzle in my steak) and hot. Staff very friendly and professional. However when the bill came it was for the full amount, fortunately I remembered and challenged this. Server left and came back saying I had to prove this as they had no record of it. Fortunately I had my business credit card app on my phone and showed her this. She went away and came back saying she would need to take my phone to her boss to prove this as they couldn't find any record of this. I agreed although i felt this was wrong. Over five minutes later my phone was returned saying the amount had been deducted. I paid the balance in cash and was due change, she said she would bring this back then in the next breath thanked us for coming and never returned to our table. This further displeased me as the bill already had a service charge added to the bill.
I will not return to this venue despite the many hard working staff who I thank but due to the management of the restaurant. I do not recommend the venue and will be filing a formal complaint with their head office.
Parking: Remember to log your car's reg number when entering or you are liable for a parking ticket.

Terrible, We arrived and waited to be seen at reception. Waitress came over then said, be with you in a min, she then ignored us. Guy comes over and asked if we had booked, i said no, he the said take a seat. He then made no effort to arrange a seat. Original waitress then made eye contact, i asked if there was any tables free, she said follow me, to which we did, then she says can you go back and take a seat.
We just walked out.
I told other customers arriving not to bother.

Service appauling, we thought we'd get a drink first as got there early to find a parking space. That was the first issue, not enough parking, being disabled parking is nightmare.
Then hubby stood at bar for 15 minutes to try get a drink, no staff... Female saw him stood there and hid round the other side, she obviously didn't want to have to serve us ?
Hubby had to go walk round to try to find someone to serve us a drink, either shut the bar, or staff it!!!
Food was good, service slow in restaurant and trying to pay the bill took nearly 25 mins.
Definitely gone downhill from our last visit.

Very average Lasagne now there's hardly any minced beef in it or many layers of pasta mostly mushy sauce and cheese ???
