Travelled to this currys today to return an id mobile phone which is a part of currys as a company, therefore is advertised across all id mobile websites saying you can return phone back to any currys store. Went in and the person working the phone area/ young lady who had a sales manager badge on proceeded to tell us they don't accept phones back to that store and never have. Then when I questioned her and asked her to call another store to see if they did it there and why not that store she then told me Falkirk do it but no one in the store including herself know how to deal with it. So from lying about the policy then admitting she doesn't know how to do it, I felt it such poor service could have just been honest and now due to poor knowledgeable staff At the Livingston currys I now need to pay 30 pounds postage to post the phone back. Terrible attitude and service won't be back.

I was in today and first spoke with a man who was not very helpful at all and not interested in helping i left the store to make a call and when i went back in a girl called Brooke dealt with me and i cannot thank her enough she went above and beyond for me and she really deserves the recognition absolutely outstanding customer service from her the rest of staff didn?t seem very helpful nor happy

Was about to buy a washing machine completed all process including delivery time etc and the chap asked me to show physical I?d card like passport or DV for payment ?????? I didn?t have one in hand , so all one hour wasted ,, Never ? recommend this shop ,

One Star ? Damaged Washing Machine After Just One Month
I bought a washing machine from Currys just a month ago, and it?s already having issues. It?s extremely loud during use, and something just doesn?t seem right with how it runs.
We had an engineer come out to take a look, and he told us it looked like the machine had been dropped or damaged before it was even delivered to us. That?s completely unacceptable for a new appliance.
Very disappointed with the condition this was sold to us in. I expected much better from Currys. Would not recommend based on this experience.

Staff were helpful when we were there to buy appliances but when we had issues afterwards, they were not very helpful. You can?t contact the store by phone or email, you have to physically go back to talk to them, which I did despite not living that close. The store manager said she would call me within 48 hours to resolve our issue and we never heard from them again. I wouldn?t use Currys again due to the poor customer service following purchases - glad we didn?t take out their insurance as I can?t imagine that is efficient!

Went looking for a new fridge freezer, we were ignored by all the sales staff, and the only member of staff who spoke to us was the person at the door asking if we got everything we wanted when we walked out. I can't remember a time when this particular store hasn't been this way so I don't know why I was surprised. Ordered elsewhere.

A few months ago, I took my laptop to Currys for a screen replacement. I chose them over a local service center because of the brand reputation and their 7-day repair guarantee. However, the repair took over two weeks, and they charged me an excessive amount of money.
To make things worse, the display they installed was absolutely terrible. On my high-end laptop, they gave me the worst possible screen?worse than what you'd find on an £80 Chromebook.
I strongly advise against getting your devices repaired at Currys?you'll regret it.
