“Prices are too steep compared to larger Tesco. Parking is decent enough for location. It's on flat so will accommodate wheelchair users. Never had to stand in a queue. All in all its O.K, would be great apart from prices”

“Small local shop. You can buy the most necessary goods, food, chemicals, alcohol. Prices do not bite. There is an ATM, and postal services are available. The staff is polite and helpful.”

“Reluctantly went back to the the car wash because had bad previous experiences but this time you would have thought somebody had spent hours cleaning it because it was gleaming. The difference this time was Gaz the operator treated the car like his own and left it immaculateGreat Job Thank you”

“Every member of staff, in my experience, has been pleasant, approachable and willing to helpToo often, you ask a staff member in a store where an item Is and they spend 20 minutes telling you where what you’re looking for used to be, but the staff here always know where the goods are and, if they’re out if stock, have good advice on the perfect alternative”

“Newly refurbished with a great range of fruit, veg and convenience food but where has the lovely bakery gone? We used to visit especially to get your lovely French sticks, crusty bread and pain au chocolat. Inevitably we would buy something else when we visited as well. Now they are nowhere to be seen and yet bizarrely, you have different types of empire biscuits. Please bring bring back your full bakery range. Until then we will take the longer trip to the Morrison’s or Lidl bakeries!”

“I never knew that Scotmid Co-operative is independent from The Cooperative Group. But working together as members of the Co-operative Retail Trading Group(CRTG). Anyways, your local biggest shop...Aldi is closest..1, Houston Park. No proper car park, but I always find a space next to the store. Got your essentials, but not a week shop. Hot display of pies, sausage rolls etc. ? nice and friendly staff!”
