I Finally visited this lovely treasure, today, while on a (very rare), break,at work. Fantastic cooked breakfast! Good value,- just like being in wetherspoons!! Tasty waffle, with maple syrup/banana/blueberry. Lovely, pleasant staff, enjoyed the wide variety of background music, just loved the interior/atmosphere, so, homely. Thanks very much! I'll be back soon!!

A lovely little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. I had tea and a lemon drizzle cake. The cake was slightly dry but the icing and lemon drizzle managed to cover most of this. Friendly staff and great service.

Heard only good things about the wobbly dog and now we understand why! We were greeted by a beautiful spotty pony, it's wee pal and a waggy tailed, not so wobbly, dog in the back garden.
The cafe is colourful and full of lovely local crafts, particularly good if you're fond of crocheting or knitting. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We had the tasty spicy lentil soup with spinach and butternut squash and are wondering how we can recreate it at home. We also had some filled rolls and the wee person had the fruit pancakes with a wide selection of sticky sweet stuff to keep anyone happy.
The cakes and bakes were to die for. The peppermint slice and chocolate fudge cake were some of the best I've tasted. The husband is thinking about returning for a slice of the victoria sponge which looks like the ones Granny used to make!
Fabulous café, well worth the stop.

Had two cakes from here this week - the Victoria Sponge and Lemon Drizzle cake, both were excellent and the general vibe of the place is great.

Loved this quirky place. I wish I had time for another visit whilst in Lewis. The cakes looked amazing but I indulged in the Old English cooked breakfast. Top quality ingredients served with a smile. X

Cozy atmosphere, delicious food and friendly people. Gluten free and vegan options available. I have food allergies and the staff were so kind and patient helping me find something that would work. Lovely spot!

Stopped here on our way to the Butt of Lewis because of the reviews & we were not disappointed! The homemade soup & cheese scone were simply the best. We had to share a slice of cake as we were quite full but as they all looked so delicious we couldn?t leave without trying some. The carrot cake was sampled, a generous slice, lovely & moist with plenty of icing that was unusually light and fluffy, not overly sweet with a lovely hit of orange. Very warm & friendly staff & had a nice chat with the owner.

Thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon tea presented to me on a weekday late in the afternoon , which included leaf tea in a hot pot, a delicious warm scone and condiments. I also bought two sneaky cinnamon buns for dessert ?? which were very tasty. The staff were extremely friendly and obliging. Many thanks for being open so early in the year.

Lovely, dog-friendly cafe with great food. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Loved having my tea in a china cup! Can recommend the homemade soup, Spicy Lentil, and the Victoria Sponge was delicious?
Interesting selection of local craft work for sale too.

I was over visiting my parents for Christmas and we really fancied a nice bite to eat on Boxing Day, and was surprised to see that some places were open, very convenient as it was only a 10 minute walk from the house ?. As for the breakfasts, absolutely amazing value for money! all local produce and the haggis on my breakfast was the best I?ve ever tasted and everything was cooked to perfection. I?m a chef and know that it takes time to cook and it?s hard in a small business trying to do many things at once!
customer service was amazing, we had a good laugh. Very cozy atmosphere and very welcoming! Will definitely be back when I am next over :)

Such a lovely little find. We didn't stay for any food or drinks but there was a great selection of locally made crafts & art work.
