Sarah our server was an absolute sweetheart. It makes such a difference when having a staff member that gives service with a smile and a bit of banter in what is a upper class restaurant. The food is amazing but her warmth and positive aura made our dining experience so memorable.
She even impressed us with her knowledge of the Unicorn being the national animal for Scotland ?

The haggis black pudding tower was outstanding?easily one of the best haggis dishes I?ve ever had. The fish and chips were excellent as well, and we finished with a sticky toffee pudding that was just as impressive.

Excellent restaurant focusing on the local seafood. I had the steamed mussels followed by haddock in a lemon butter sauce, both were delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is quietly upmarket. Definitely worth trying out if you are on Stornoway.

Had lunch in this lovely welcoming restaurant overlooking the castle in Stornaway. We had the fish and soup of the day and both were fresh and full of flavour. The service was excellent and the presentation thoughtful. The decor was tasteful with comfy chairs, plenty of space and some atmospheric local art on the walls. Crisp wine, a lovely cup of tea - all great value and top quality.

We had a lovely meal here for 2 adults and 3 kids age 12-15. The seafood was superb, really worth the money. There was enough diversity in the menu to satisfy everyone. My youngest had an enormous dish of pasta.

We had a great diner at this restaurant last night. I had the local lobster and my wife the duck. The lobster was fresh and well prepared. The staff was very nice and helpfull.

Excellent atmosphere and service. Starter was tasty and came with nice dips. Main fish course, was, slightly over cooked, but tasty sauce, boiled potatoes were a little unimaginative, but generally a good main course. Pudding was honeenade locally and tasty. Would recommend as best place visited for dinner in Stornoway.

Great rib eye! Cooked perfectly. They sat is without a reservation but gave us a time limit bc another table was booked. But we had a great time!
