Recently my family arranged an 80th. birthday party in the library room of the castle and it was a great intimate pleasant yet roomy experience for twenty the accommodation rivals any hotel in Lewis with views to match ... "a big thank you to everyone involved" ... it is a luxurious affordable delicate atmospheric and also intriguing venue with a delightful service and welcome to appreciate.

A fantastic place to stay. The castle is fully restored with help from lottery funding and serves the community and tourists with great facilities and luxury accommodation.

We were guests for 3 nights and we loved it. Great location with stylish interior. Beautiful bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Very good value for money.

Stayed at Lews Castle several times over the years. Excellent standard of self- catering accommodation in an ideal location. Situated on the hill overlooking Stornoway with lovely views over the harbour. Beautiful grounds for long walks. This year we experienced a lovely friendly welcome on arrival from Christina to show us to our rooms, offering help with luggage and giving us helpful information about our stay. She was most helpful and attentive throughout our week long holiday without being intrusive. Highly recommend for a town location when staying on the island. We will definitely continue to return here every time we holiday in the Isle of Lewis.
