We only visited for a meal. The food that was prepared correctly was great, however mine was not correct. A vegetarian was given a non vegetarian option even though it was pointed out on the menu. This was quickly amended though. Half the staff were fantastic. The other half were abrupt, rude and ignorant. They had trouble listening to requests and though it was acceptable to mimic us to their fellow staff members as a joke. The manager was told about this and apologised and assured us it would be dealt with.

Fantastic stay. The staff was nice and the bar area was great. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Stopped for food and it was great. Staff really friendly and helpful too. Where I seen them accommodate getting a table for 15 people after they just turned up.

Centrally located, and friendly staff. We stayed in the one room on the ground floor and there was a fair bit of noise from the pub/bar across the road, as well as from inside the hotel itself (music coming from somewhere at 5.30am!) Having said that the room itself was decent, and we had a very nice (if slightly chaotic) dinner in the restaurant. The continental breakfast was very good. So overall a mixed bag.

We had drinks in the bar, very pleasant girl behind the bar. We then went back for a second visit to eat and the food was amazing, 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. The service was brilliant too. They are dog friendly which is brilliant as there aren't many places in Stornoway that is.

Fabulous food, super friendly staff, they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, I would highly recommend this restaurant , booking is advisable especially at weekends, will definitely be back

Awesome food and decent value. One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. The whisky list was huge, wish I'd been able to stay and sample more!
