My hubby and I's favourite restaurant.Lovely pleasant staff,lovely ambience,lovely meals..what more can you ask for?!!Food & drinks: Plenty variety of both alcoholic and soft drinks.Noteworthy details: Pleasant staff, who "go the extra mile" for regular diners,such as my hubby and I.

This is a great jumping-off-point for any time in Stornoway; just steps from the ferry, it is easy to get here and to get back to the ferry after your adventure is done. Anne, the front desk clerk, was a doll and was able to put us in a room with a larger bed the second night we were there -- room 16 with a double bed just wasn't conducive to a good night's sleep. Room 40 with a king + (two twins pushed together) was a dream.The rooms have adequate heating, and great water and water pressure. The restaurant, eleven, has a good breakfast buffet and I enjoyed eating there in the evenings, too.

Room was a bit small, with stains on the wall and crumbling plaster. The communal area smelled very stale and could do with a deep clean. Bathroom appeared relatively modern, excellent pressure in the

Room not clean, double bed was very, very small. The friendly lade from the reception gave us another room. The bed here was very good, but the bathroom was mold paradise and every 15 minutes some kind of outside airco made a lot of noise (all night long). #

Stayed here last night. Receptionist wonderful and welcoming. That?s the positive!Unfortunately the Rooms are dated and I slept awful due to a cheap lumpy stained mattress.Pictures attached of the bed which looks like it?s been collected from the town dump. Disgusting to be quite honestUnacceptable for the premium price paid. Staff for breakfast were also unfriendly and uninterested.Hate to appear negative but we wouldn?t stay here again if they paid us!! ? so glad we only booked here for one night

Stayed at this hotel on a bus tour of the Outer Hebrides. Check inn was quick as it was a long day travelling. All staff were great from reception and restaurant, kind, welcoming and polite. The room well I was charged by the bus company an extra £120 as I was a solo traveller which I find unfair for a single room. The room was spotless, comfy bed, furniture a bit dated but in tradition with the island with Harris Tweed soft furnishings. My only gripes were no fridge and I had no hand soap the full time I stayed there. I would stay again but not in that single room as it looked onto which I think was the restaurant or kitchen a tad too noisy.

Enjoyed the carvery that much we went back again. It?s a carvery/buffet it?s not just roast +veg, although that?s what opted for. The veg and toast potatoes were all perfectly cooked and the buttered new potatoes were spot on! Sometimes the veg at carveries is a bit soggy and limp or dried out under the lights that was definitely not the case here. There was a dessert counter where you could make your selection. I had good old fashioned trifle one night and it was brilliant. Kids cleared their plates too. Was good value.

This is a 3 star hotel but it has a fabulous restaurant. Lovely friendly staff. And great service.I stayed 3 nights in June 2023. Had a lovely double room. Buffet breakfast was good.Bar area is small but well stocked.

Whatever you do - don't book an "economy" room at this dump - I have travelled the world and never walked into a room with no windows, no air con and just a dirty skylight full of dead flies. I was so shocked I actually opened the wardrobe doors and the bathroom door to see if there were hidden windows - no such luck.If you kept a pet or a child in these conditions it would be an offence.Made worse by the unusually hot weather - I asked the receptionist if there was hidden air con? "I could lend you a fan".Turned around, walked out of the door and 4 of us had to find digs at 19:00 in the evening - we were lucky, albeit had to separate for the night into two locations.Give this place a miss.

Popped in on Sunday ( one of the few restaurants open). Had a burger which was filling and adequate. Restaurant was busy with many enjoying the carvery which is a bit overpriced....but overall a decent meal

Lovely big room with separate small sitting area. The restaurant was very busy and noisy and the buffet not the best, so went to a different recommended restaurant on second night.
