This must be one of the best places for coffee and cakes in Stornoway. We had coffee and fruit scones. Both exceptional. The seating upstairs is very comfortable and is a good place to relax.

I have come here many times. Last time was a year ago and was very good. This time I waited 15mins to be served. Lunchtime has no sandwiches, no cream for hot chocolate and the flat white tasted very burnt.
I have edited this post as I was too harsh with my previous comment. As the owner said in their reply, I had enjoyed my time here in the past. I should not let one time define my over all experience. Let's just hope the next time I return that it will be much improved.

Took about 25 minutes to get 2 cappuccinos for takeaway. Then they nuked the milk to kingdom come. Had to wait another 25 minutes to drink them. Still was a fairly nice staff and shop.

Great food and coffee in Stornaway, make sure to visit. Friendly and welcoming staff. Go upstairs, loads of space.

Went in for lunch as I had read it was good for gluten-free, but this is not the case. They had maybe 1 gluten-free cake, but none of the food could be made gluten-free. Definitely not safe for coeliacs.
