Nice little pub that was robbed of its historical name by a faceless chain. Great service from friendly, local landlady. There?s a busy public bar and lounge bar and we went into the latter. Has a beer garden up some steps at the back. Will definitely return when next in the area. No meals sold here.

It's still a good old style pub.
The place is split with a bar and lounge with different doors. serving many different drinks but only snacks of crisps and nuts

Very nice the first time I have been there. Shame in a way that they had to change the name. But the history inside is still there. & I got a strongbow dark fruit cider absolutely stunning

Great little pub, can't score food as the bar doesn't have a menu. Very busy with locals and seemed understaffed for the best part of a busy Saturday.Drinks were always cold and area kept clean.Allowed the rugby on TV until the live entertainment started.Will definitely visit again.

Didn't get told they were out of items, so came without half of what we ordered. Ordered galzed chicken skewers and got a bit of chicken on sweet chilli sauce with no slaw. Didn't get offered a different plate or discount. Also, ordered the mushroom brushetta, came on a slice of normal bread with one mushroom. Not impressed, will not be back.

Food was lovely. Our waitress molly was lovely, such a pleasant lady. Amazing service. We are definitely going to come back again.
