A warm welcome and a great pint! This is a wee gem of a place which suits it's location in historical Linlithgow.Atmosphere is always cracking with a good crowd of regulars and visitors. The pints are top notch, matched by the service of the staff. All very knowledgeable and more than wiling to engage in healthy conversation! Special mention to Ian and Nikki who are first class.A must visit when in Linlithgow!

I was in having some lunch over the weekend, I couldn?t recommend the place more. Lovely atmosphere, delicious food the staff were so helpful and a great laugh AND they are dog friendly. Can?t wait to come back again soon.

The pub was very lively, we picked this pub as it was advertised as dog friendly, on arrival our dog was given a bowl of water which was much appreciated, unfortunately we had to deal with a publican that had one to many to drink and frightened our dog (basically would not leave her alone and kept getting in her face), we were then asked to quieten down our dog or leave. We did manage to stay for dinner as we managed the situation ourselves, the food was okay, quite basic, burger was dry and the chips were over cooked. A relatively cheap meal, unfortunately would not be in a rush to go back.

Food uninspiring though reasonably priced. Dull atmosphere with badly drawn artifacts on the wall. Looks like the hospitality version of an old pair of slippers. You're comfortable and know what to expect but, really, you need a new pair... more modern & with a bit of style.

We had lunch, the Beyond Meet burgers with BBC sauce are very tasty, the patty was cross grilled, the fries with some peel were very good, the staff were very friendly and helpful, I tried my first ale. Everything is very good to drink, it doesn't matter whether it's light or dark, the restaurant is very nicely decorated, whether in the front or back area. Here you can eat and drink very well and definitely have a good partyVegetarian options: I can highly recommend the Beyond Meat Burger

A cozy atmosphere, great service and delicious food. Went to visit the historical Linlithgow and found a lot of history in the restaurant also. It was a great surprise being at the Four Mary's as it ticked all possible boxes and ??. The food was an absolute delight and the pork belly I order simply dissolved in my mouth. I would 100% go back if in the city again.

One of the best - if not the best - pubs in Scotland. Where else has 8 perfectly kept rotating hand pumps of cask ale? Nowhere. Fantastic wee place.

The Four Marys is a nice pub with good food. The staff are friendly. I recommend The Four Marys Pale ale. A quite pleasant ale.

Ordered nachos, only to not have available. Staff lady at bar counter seemed very stressed the whole time we were there. Maybe they were short staffed. Will give it another chance in a few months, but if it's the same result, then there won't be a third time.
