I used to go to Specsavers store in Glenrothes but felt the staff didn't respect me and made me feel like I was being laughed at behind my back. The leven store is completely different, the staff are kind and polite and make you feel like you are important to them.

I had initial tests and went back last week to have a contact fitting with Robert .This gentleman was so patient , friendly and informative.Robert talked me through tips what to expect and answered my questions.I went back this week as my contacts were blurry was seen by the optometrist Naomi who was lovely spent lots time explaining how to tweak putting them in etc and gave me a new set contacts to try . It was lovely having someone take time to explain things like oil in eyes gave me tips and recommendations for things to try .Robert kindly helped me change my new glasses over to a lighter frame too !Robert didn?t pull faces or make me feel awkward he went out his way to find a frame similar to what I was wearing .It?s staff like this that makes you want to go back to a store and recommend to freinds and family .My colleagues at work had recommended on my ward and so far I?m impressedHighly recommend

I was advised to take reading glasses as well as variofocals the reading glasses do not work as vision is blurred while watching television and reading complete waste of over hundred pounds never again

At this moment in time, I'm feeling decidedly sick, with a raging headache, while trying to do some computer screen work. I knew there seemed to be something wrong with set of varifocals when I picked them up on 28th Jan. The frames were adjusted to let the lens sit differently, and I was advised to try to persist while my brain got used to the difference in prescription.Personally, I think the lens specification is of a worse quality than I've had before (also from Specsavers, but Kirkcaldy branch have always been brilliant). I'm now handing these back, and I expect the work to be done properly. Unbelievably angry, as I'd assume Specsavers would hold details of past prescriptions, and would be perfectly well aware the last thing they should be doing, is passing off inferior quality specification.Easy example to check (which is nothing to do with why I'm having computer-based problems, but is why I suspect the varifocal prescription is probably inferior) - if you've got anti glare, check your current glasses, and compare with new set. I had to research why all my previous glasses have always shown a green tint, but these new ones show pink/purple - not impressed to see one explanation being that pink/purple is cheaper (6 layers of whatever they add to lens, as opposed to the 9 that apparently offers the green hue)

My screw come out while in shop went in to get them fixed left then with them to fix did not have right screw made them worse bent frame now need new frame shocking so do not take your glasses to be fixed manger does not know what he doing
