The chips aren't bad , but if i compare them to other great chippies in Lanarkshire (Toni's, Ebbi's, Onesti's), they aren't good. Overcooked , too greasy , bad oily aftertaste .
Maybe some people like double cooked chips but in my opinion it means too crispy , trapped oil , not good at all .

I tried this chip shop a couple of months ago and really enjoyed the food the fish was absolutely beautiful so me and my wife travelled from Cumbernauld around 40 mins drive and again by far best chip shop I?ve tried for a long time and will be back. The shop is very clean and the staff are very pleasant

Decent chippy with good service and good food.
Other reviews seem to love it or hate it but I thought it was really good without being exceptional.
Firstly, you will not be disappointed, the quality of the food is good and it is cooked well.
The menu is massive for a chippy with a whole range of tempting sides and main dishes.
The portion sizes are about right and not ridiculously large like some chopped so bear that in mind if you are a big eater.
The haggis supper is a must have in my opinion and the fish and chicken dishes are really good too.

Although there was a minor mix-up with one of the items in our order, the staff quickly resolved the issue and even delivered the correct item to us within 10 minutes. I truly appreciate their commitment to customer satisfaction.
Not only that, but the complimentary drink they sent us was a wonderful gesture and much appreciated.
