We had a flat tire and wandered into the pub.
We were treated like family. Everyone was so nice and helped us to feel much better about our situation.
What a great place.
And it is the highest pub in Scotland.

I've used the carpark on many occasions to park overnight in my campervan, you are expected to purchase from the premises. The Mackie cheese and chips is brilliant. This is a family run business, if your in the area please drop in as you will not be disappointed. There are other paring spaces in the village not far from the pub. There is plenty of walking in and around Wanlockhead, the Southern upland way runs through it. Dogs are allowed in on a lead and of the carpet.
Thanks lads for such a great place in a great place.

I was here for the Wildfire Music Festival. The food and drink were great and the atmosphere was phenomenal. I've already booked my ticket for next years event.
Many thanks to the organisers.
I think I'll even pop back before next year as the scenery and surrounding areas were very peaceful.

I stayed in one of the holiday pods on the grounds. It was very comfortable and when I was there very quiet. I would recommend staying here. i would definitely go back. Very reasonable.

It is a really quirky place - very friendly, and very popular. We had a drink there, but couldn?t get space for our camper - probably because of the event that was going on that weekend. Will definitely try again
