My daughter & I stumbled across this delightful cafe after doing the Rocks of Solitude walk. We are visiting from Australia and after 3 weeks of traveling around Scotland we can confidently say this was the best coffee we?ve had since we?ve been here. Throw in friendly & prompt service, beautiful decor, delicious Mac n cheese and chats with locals and it was one of the best dining experiences we?ve had. Wish we lived closer-we?d be regulars!

Lovely little cafe I didn?t know existed until yesterday. Stopped by while on a cycle and all the staff were incredibly friendly. I had a bacon and black pudding roll with a latte which was all fantastic. Menu looked great but I had limited appetite.
There?s a wall of cakes at the back which look great, I had a custard cream which was moist and crumbly.
Staff were happy to fill out water bottles up too.

My sister and I had a lovely lunch. Macaroni and cheese with haggis was delicious. Superb cakes- the courgette and lime was a real hit! Best Cortado I?ve tasted for some time.
Excellent service, nice atmosphere.
Recommend 100%.
