Um if its chips you want, go for it. Not sure anything else is for me. Staff friendly day however! Mobile fish n chip van in area Thurs and Sun, much better option.

I went for the half pizza, they only do a crunch and not the non-battered variety. I found this odd but it might be a local custom, so no marks dropped for that.
The wait was lengthy but it seemed justified when i opened the box and saw the huge home cut chips which looked beautifully cooked. The pizza was also quartered which i?ve never seen before, but I can see the benefits of the decision to do this.
Unfortunately it was absolutely drowned in salt which made the dish almost inedible / potentially a stroke risk.
I am a salt man and I tried to salvage but it was too much.
Its a shame as there was potential. If i do return i?ll say no to salt and vinegar, or at least keep a close eye on the levels being poured.

Waited over 30 mins for frozen chips?.. I could do that at home.
Pizza was salty and kebab meat not fresh.

well what can I say about this place, it's the worst chippy I've ever been in or eat out of first off they were over a half hour late opening and then when we finally ordered the food was disgusting, Chips not cooked through and the fish was so soggy it broke when lifting onto plate and don't get me started on the taste NEVER

Well what can I say?. I didn?t want to believe all the bad reviews but I really should have just listened, from the outside your worst fears start to become true, your then welcomed with what can I say is a mixture of Christmas decorations or a jumble sale? I ordered the regular chips and what I got was 4/5 chips which looked like they had been cooked under a warm tap?. To sum this up will not visit again.Good luck and hopefully reading this review saves you the disappointment I had.

I opened the box and didn?t know what to expect but I was in for a real treat. The fish tasted extremely fresh and was of a high quality. The chips were excellent and not too greasy. Portion size was bang on. Generally some of the tastiest fish and chips I?ve EVER had! So good. Thank youKid-friendliness: Lovely

LORD OF THE CHIPPIE! Oh my god, what a chipper! 13 lazy adults waltz in to this unassuming establishment and they were able to pull off some of the best fish and chips of my life. I read the reviews before and the chips were not too fat (sure a little chunky but what?s not to love) the batter was spot on and the lemon wedge in the box was a dash of finesse I didn?t expect. The gravy was heartstopping, (in a good way, and that?s coming from a northerner!) and the curry sauce was liquid gold. Ignore the haters, they are just wrong so wrong. Owners were absolutely lovely and engaged us in interesting and lovely debate during our brief wait. Once again, LORD OF THE CHIPPIE, thank you

Chips were decent but the batter on the fish I ordered was soggy, and almost nonexistent on the "battered" smoked sausage - which was so overcooked I could hardly get my teeth through it and had to bin it. The meal was also really greasy.

Fish was small, chips were wedges, full of grease and only part cooked. So greasy I was unable to eat this.
