It is superb. Staff and food alike. Arrived just at 3 but we were still made very welcome. I recommend everything.
One hazard however is the driveway. Take your time, is all I can say.

Lovely place for lunch. Very friendly and welcoming. Real quality food served with a smile. The rice pudding is a top recommendation, if you are lucky enough to find it on the specials board.

First visit to Balmakewan Farm Shop & Tea Room and I was not disappointed. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Good choice of menu, some of which you would not normally associate with this type of establishment. Our food came out quickly and was of a very high quality, which we thoroughly enjoyed basking in the sunshine in the outdoor area.This is one place that we will most definitely be going back to.

Balmakewan is always a delight to experience, the warm welcome, delicious food, the wee deli through bye, the service is always first class, even when busy, busy.My families personal favourites are the "Haggis bon bons" from the deli, put them in the airfryer to crisp them up. Mmm, delightful!Parking: Oodles of parking spaces.Kid-friendliness: Always, friendly and welcoming.Wheelchair accessibility: Would be easily accessible for wheelchairs
