Mistakenly left side lights on. Battery flat on return. My breakdown cover unable to be contacted. Walked to garage, after a neighbours recommendation, explained my predicament. They stopped what they were doing and came within 10 minutes. The mechanic used a jump start device and the car started immediately. He gave me some follow up advice and we were then on our way.A first class, friendly and prompt response to my situation. The cost was minimal in comparison to how I was feeling about my problem initially.

Can't thank this garage enough for helping me out when I was in need. Unfortunately my car was not worth fixing. Please be careful using them, I had my car in for some work recently on my rear brakes including replacing both backing plates, which costover £700. This job took over a week to be completed as they told me they were waiting for specific backing plates from Mercedes to be delivered. I found out soon after from a different garage who did a repair on my rear brakes (abs light came on) that they they hadn?t been replaced, the mechanic actually showed me the rusted backing plates (they were literally crumbling apart) that he had removed from my rear wheels and the faulty bearings which waterside claimed to have replaced. And incidentally, they managed to get backing plates on the same day - so very confused why Waterside took so long to do nothing. This is unacceptable but nothing I can do about it now as I doubt they would admit fault and refund me. So just be careful that the work they say they are doing is actually getting done and also that they don?t over charge - get a second opinion. I will try to take this matter further but not sure what I can do. Lesson learned, stick with a garage and mechanic you know you can trust!

Waterside Motors have been my family's choice for many years now. We have always found them to be trusted, fair priced and accommodating. Work done has always been to a high standard and in most instances they have managed to operate around my work schedule as my car is essential to my job. MOT's have never presented a problem and advice was always offered. Recently I had cause to be concerned re an upcoming MOT. Fortunately I had allowed plenty of time before the MOT was due, the problem was dealt with by the able staff and my car passed with flying colours due to the knowledge, skill and professionalism of the mechanics. With this kind of service I shall continue to be a loyal customer.
