Despite being very busy (all tables inside taken) the staff still offer fast, friendly service of well kept cask conditioned beer ??

In largs again and thought I would give it another chance after a bad experience in here with the management about the tables not been cleared and it was just the same

Lovely place for a drink we didnt have food this time. Although we saw a lot being served and it looked delicious. Lovely view out back ?

Really handy Wetherspoon that overlooks the ferry port. Gets very busy most days and shows its popularity. Food has always been nice here. Toilets are well maintained and restaurant is always clean and tidy. Small outside seating areas at the front and back. Does not have parking but there is a large car park nearby.

I went in for some food and drinks with my brothers, it was well priced and we ordered food and drinks from the app.
When receiving the drinks the staff member just dumped them on the table and moved off grumpily. The food wasn't very nice I got a dry burger with white liquid cheese on the top which was 1000 degrees unlike the rest of the meal.
The atmosphere was alright and lively enough for a whetherpoons and my brothers did enjoy their pints so at least there is that.
But having been to various whetherpoons in the past I don't think I would return to this one again.

One of the nicests Wetherspoons I've been to thanks to the sea views and the coming and growing ferries, can be seen from 1/3 of the pub, other than that it's a Wetherspoons so expect an older crowd and some families.

A few weeks ago we joined in with my local residents group for a wee coach trip to Largs. Perfect weather up until the day when it poured down in buckets. Anyway we all met up in the restaurant and they all said had lovely meals and the drinks went down well too as couldn't venture outside!
So last night, as the weather was lovely, my friend and myself took the trip to Largs. The restaurant again was extremely busy but managed to find an unocoppied table in a booth. Table 67 that has a copper surface. Like the last time we had fish and chips. So very satisfying and lovely and warm. A few cups of lattes too. The staff were very pleasant and worked so very hard to serve such a large dining area.

A bit cramped in the area near the bar and I had trouble using their app /qr cod. Apart from that it's the usual spoons dishes, range of beers and atmosphere.

I?m a great Wetherspoons fan, but the service here was very poor - very rare for a Spoons. Quite a few tables inside and outdoor were unusable due to the amount of used glasses and plates piled on them waiting to be cleared. I was in a queue with only 2 other customers and although there were 3 staff I had to walk to the other side of the bar to be served, even though the bar lady could see me waiting at the other end. I suppose everyone occasionally has staff problems, even WS.

Very busy pub when visiting last Saturday because of the blistering heat, served quickly though and managed to get a seat.
