Terrible agent.I had booked to view a property I had repeatedly told them I was VERY keen on. Train tickets booked and excited I got an e-mail telling me not to bother as the property had sold.Poor judgement, as cancelling my viewing (and supposedly others) potentially cost their client money.They also refused to refund my train fare, which is just poor manners.Avoid.

We recently made a very big move from England to Scotland and contacted McTaggarts as we were looking in the area at the time. From the moment we walked into the office to be met with a friendly greeting at reception, we felt we were in very good hands. Alison Reid and Fergus Duncan, handled the conveyance in an extremely professional and knowledgeable manner especially given the additional timing complications involved in a move from England to Scotland. They went the extra mile to ensure our questions were answered, even referring us on to other knowledgeable colleagues who were just as helpful. We really felt the whole team had our best interests at heart. Communication was easy there was always someone to talk to and Alison was always on hand to take calls or call back as soon as she could. The whole conveyance from selling our English house to purchase and completion of our Scottish house took just under 5 weeks which is something of a record.
