First class. Food great quality and exceptional value.
It was very busy with inside and outside tables almost all occupied so kitchen understandably a wee bit slow. But they're putting out quality meals so not an issue for us.
When we are in the area again we won't hesitate to go back.

A very nice nice little cafe locatted just outside of Langholm, serving a great choice of homely favourites, at very good prices. Food was straight forward and and very tasty, and Vegatrian options were also available. The choice and quality of the puddings was the best bit, with us leaving very full after over indulging for lunch. It was very much worth a stop if you were passing, with a large car park available. Staff were all very friendly, delivering a local vibe in a casual environment.

We found this lovely little cafe just north of Langholm on the A7.
We had tried 2 hotels and a cafe in centre of Langholm this was a Sunday afternoon and they could not serve us food because they were full or stopping serving at 2pm.
The Whitshiels cafe managed to serve us hot soup and Ham Sandwich even although they were closing at 3pm.
The girl servers (sisters)were welcoming and helpful ,thank you to all the staff
If we pass this way again we will be sure to stop for food.
