“A valuable local service, the post office counter offers most of the core services, although there are a few things (like passport check and send) which you'll need to go to Lanark for. They do still offer all Royal Mail and Parcelforce postal services and banking with most major banks (I bank with Bank of Scotland and HSBC, both of which are supported). The staff are polite and courteous, and are always incredibly helpful. However, as there is only one post office counter there can sometimes be a bit of a queue and I've seen myself waiting as much as ten minutes to be served.”
