Ive been a customer for many years and am delighted with the consistently excellent service from both receptionists and opticians. The practice offers state of the art technology and I can rest assured my eye health is monitored thoroughly. Nothing is ever a bother...eg explaining eye issues, helping choose frames or providing confirmation of my broken glasses and cost for a recent insurance claim. Appointments are available on a Saturday morning /an evening. The practice also supports glasses for 3rd world residents, being gracious with their time and commitment. So, are highly ethical and kind people. Reliable and welcoming practice.

I am always nervous going to my usual opticians (Specsavers). I felt as though my glasses were never quite right and the treatment was very sales focused, encouraging you to get expensive everything. Dr Mackie was pleasant and to the point, no sales talk just honesty. I really appreciated that I got given contact lenses to try my glasses on so I could see. The range of glasses are good and the prices reasonable. I felt comfortable here, thank you.

Excellent service. I suffer from dry eyes and this was getting really bad, I had went to an other optican who previously suggested eye drops. When I went to Mackie's it was really bad, but after going for a few weeks we have treated it. I can't thank them enough!!

I had a brilliant experience at Mackies to update my prescription and get new frames. Scott was very professional and Pamela, Sheona and Addrianne were so lovely and very attentive in helping me choose a new frame which I love!

Lovely helpful staff, Lesmahagow branch, couldn't do enough for us on each of the visits we had to make, Mum 91 & won't go anywhere else! Son 17 & he trusts the staff guidance on products. Appts only due to covid-19, all measures in place making you feel safe & secure .. thank you! Stay safe ?
