This place is amazing. If you are in the area this is a great place to stop and grab a bite, either savory or sweet in a homey atmosphere with fantastic service. Also has a bar if you are not the driver!

Found this place by accident, just driving past & decided to stop for lunch. Quaint, cute little place in the middle of nowhere. The lady running the place is very friendly and we were made to feel extremely welcome; also a very dog friendly place, our dog was immediately given a bowl of fresh water and a couple of treats. Menu is extensive, lots of choice, including a fair few veggie options. Meals were enjoyable if a little basic. All in all an enjoyable lunch stop in a lovely, unusual, friendly little place. However...(and this is why I have only given 3 stars)....about 5 minutes before we finished eating, I spotted the young lad who had been doing the cooking, wipe his nose on the side of his hand...his bare hand....twice!!! And then a couple of minutes later he proceeded to scoop out...with bare hands...a handful of mixed lettuce leaves from a bag onto someone's plate ready for serving!!! Not a pair of food grade plastic gloves or a pair of tongs in sight. Not the sort of procedure you expect in an environment serving and handling food. If I had seen him doing that before we ordered I wouldn't have ordered food at all. Shame really, as it really is a lovely little place, but they need to up their game where food hygiene procedures are concerned

What a fab find this little tearoom was. We just popped in for a hot cuppa, but ended up having much more. And the cheesecake was absolutely devine. Highly recommend this gem!

Great little find, tucked away, but if you're on the A837 this is a great stop-off for a toilet break and a cuppa and cake. Embrace the quirk and go with the flow. Recommended.

We visited here today and we?re so glad we did! Our server was great and made us all laugh (young lad, decent crack and wore and earphone) would come back just for him! Food was great too. 10/10 recommend. Food, a drink from the bar or just a coffee :)

Drink prices are absolutely fair. Fish and chips were also good but not a huge highlight. The price is also good. Overall a good one. A little more friendliness towards the guests would be very helpful. But overall everything was okay.

Don't miss this little gem of a place, beautiful food and at the most reasonable prices we have found on our highland adventure. Plus the banter from Conner doesn't cost any extra!Parking: We managed to fit two large motorhomes in the rear car park still leaving room for others and more parking at the front of the building

Lovely remote tea and coffee bar as well as beer etc. Even in winter, it was open - we were pleasantly surprised. The coffee was tasty and well-priced.
