“Not been here for a while and the proprietors have made big efforts to keep this place up to date. This must be difficult in winter when visitors are few. We stayed one night in November and our room was modern, comfortable and the whole hotel was warm. Good facilities, including USB ports for charging. We had dinner which had several choices, although simple bar menu type items (but roast venison if you like) at average prices. The dining area a bit "bright" for some. Keg beers with choice were fine, so too were the wines. Lots of whisky choices if you prefer. We didn't venture into the bar. Simple freshly cooked breakfasts with pre-ordered choice. A rural highland hotel with friendly and helpful staff on a cold night!”
