Had a flat on the way into isle of skye and was luckily stopped by the co-op a couple miles away from their workshop. Excellent service, tow came within 30 mins (not to mention it was 1 Jan) after we made the call to Avis and service was friendly and professional! Thank you!

My daughter and I had 2 flat tires and Ewen was prompt to pick up the car for repair. He was very quick with repairs and got us on our way. Very nice to work with.Service: Tires

Cannot say enough wonderful things about this company! My family and I got a flat tire in The Isle of Skye and they were at our location in less than 35 minutes. Every person throughout the entire experience was lovely, thoughtful and helpful. Recommend every single time!

En recherche d?une voiture de location environ 2 mois avant nos vacances, Morar Motors était la dernière solution disponible. Peu de retours parlaient de leur service de location et je n?étais donc pas sure du choix mais l?expérience s?est avéré parfaite. Service agréable, communication fluide, tarif raisonnable et surtout la possibilité de rendre la voiture dans la ville de Morar. Merci !!

My friend and I blew out a tire on the side of the road at 9pm on a Sunday night on our way to the Isle of Skye. We were in a rental car and the roadside assistance associated with the company told us it would probably be 1-4 hours before someone could come tow us to our Airbnb. And then we would still have to figure out how to get the car to a shop and replace the tire in the morning. We thought we were going to lose multiple days of our vacation. But by AMAZING COINCIDENCE, we happened to be just about 50 meters away from this shop. A man who worked there (I?m sorry we didn?t get his name!) got the call from the roadside assistance and knocked on our window before we?d even hung up with the operator. He instructed us to drive (very slowly) to his shop where he replaced our tire in about 20 minutes. Vacation saved!!! We were so thankful ? he was about to leave for the evening and it was so kind of him to take time out of his night to help us. HEROES EXIST.

We got a punctured tire, so we called a few shops but they couldn't tow us and they recommended these guys. Called them and in 15 min they came to where we were in Plockton, to tow us back to the shop, where they changed the tire and got us a new one. All in 1h and 30, all was replaced and our vacation day could continue. Decent prices aswell, as we got a budget tire.

They are very quick to tow you, but it seems the business is centred around this.I am not knocking the towing whatsoeverIf you need anything more than a tyre fitted or a quick simple repair, then I would definitely try another local garage (Murchisons)I was led astray after the AA used this garage as a mercenary, my car was dropped here and although they did diagnose my car; it was obvious to them that they couldn't fix it.I was made to feel like it would be possible to fix by them within the following day or two, however after waiting for a call from 11am till 5pm I called to find they couldn't fit me in for at least 30 days.Luckily Donnie at Murchisons fitted me in and sorted me the next day.

Our car broke down around 11am. A leak in cooling system. It was 3 pm till they picked us up. The car was on the bridge for inspection at 4 pm. We just needed an opinion if they could fix it or it had to be taken to a dealer. They closed at 5.30 pm. We had to come back next morning. At 11 am a mechanic had a look for about 5 minutes and concluded that it was to complicated for them. No communication pro-active, we constantly had to ask.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Visiting Scotland from the states and while filling our diesel van we grabbed the green handle (diesel) is green In the states, just mindless visual muscles memory and put unleaded in the tank. Morar Motors came to our rescue. The staff was super friendly and were such a pleasure to work with. If you find yourself in car troubles I highly recommend these guys!

Highly recommended.We needed breakdown assistance and a hire car to get us home, which meant dealing with several members of staff at the Morar (Mallaig) garage over a 2 day period.The service was consistently excellent - very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The breakdown/recovery help was particularly rapid, and that's a time when we appreciated it the most as our van failed us quite near a dangerous corner on a main road.Well done and a big thank you to all the staff, especially Stewart and Karen.

Broke down in a precarious location on the way to Skye. A lovely young local couple stopped and recommended Morar Motors. I didn't wait long to be recovered on a Saturday and car was fixed and on the road again by Monday. Everyone was pleasant to deal with. I wish I had a local garage that was as honest, efficient and good value!
