Quaint, clean and conveniently located. Soft bed linens, super comfortable bed and great pillows with it. Surprisingly quiet and restful sleep. The hotel also has a great bar, and serves meals as well. Breakfast was perfect and I particularly enjoyed having my very own assigned table. Very friendly staff. I quite enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Had our dinner here yesterday evening - friendly service and really good food - generous portions and delicious. They were also very accommodating with request for gluten free meal. We will definitely eat there again

Fantastic night out at The Thrums Hotel, there were 12 of us and the food was served promptly and to very high standards, not one person in our group had anything negative to say about The Food or the service, which is very unusual with so many people to keep happy, Excellent service, friendly staff, clean place, very welcoming.

Stayed at this hotel on weeknights for two and a half weeks as I was starting a new job in the town. All 3 rooms I stayed were a very good standard, were warm, comfortable and cleaned every day. Food at the downstairs bar/pub especially from the dinner menu really good. Helping yourself in the breakfast room every morning was straightforward. As it?s also a pub, it sometimes got noisy during the evenings but always got quiet by midnight since that?s the closing hour, so getting sleep wasn?t a problem either. Staff are friendly and helpful.
