“Very friendly and helpful man member of staff here when I went to fill up in June '22 & prices competitive too ! Considering the current fuel crisis. Apparently they supply the other fuel stations on Orkney with their fuel (?)!”

“The shop was closed the day we were there, but it is a cute place, and has a nice toilet, which is so kind. The toilet isn't wheelchair accessible, but was fine to access for my mum with a walking stick. There's a little garden and benches, so if you do get there when it is open you could eat outside.”

“22/8/22 A huge thank you for getting me back to the cruise ship.I was on the Ambassador cruise ship and had got the courtesy bendy bus into Kirkwall, just before 5pm. Unaware that the service finished at 6pmI had seen the Tickeyboo petrol station on my way into Kirkwall and when I returned to the pick up point, just after 6pm, it was like a ghost town. My phone had died and many shops were closed, as well as the information centre. I made my way to Tickeyboo, to enquire about local taxi companies. I checked and the ship was still there, and he phoned one company but they wouldn't be available for 30 mins, he then phoned Orkney Cabs who came within minutes.Because my phone had died and due to the panic that followed I forgot the name of the helpful, male employee. Thank you so much for helping me and enabling me to get back to the ship. It didn't sail until 8pm, but the buses end at 6pm. So this may happen more often with other passengers.”
