We visited on a Sunday evening, a group of parents and a group of teens. The adults were given a lovely wee side room away from the teens so that we each got our spaces to enjoy company. We know the menu and food available ... one of the reasons for choosing this venue.
Like everywhere, you can see prices creeping up, but it is maintaining balance as an affordable easy going eatery.
Parking wasn't the easiest but I am not local so didn't really know where to g for that.
It was tidy and well presented, just as you would expect it to be.

Honestly the puffer never fails to disappoint, I hadn't been in years as I'm not much of a drinker, however, after a big occasion in Kirkintilloch for myself we thought we'd head to the puffer for a quick couple before heading home, after one round we we're denied a second round of shots... However, I could still order a full round of drinks, makes no sense... We were just about to get last round of shots and head home, but thankfully the staff at the puffer made sure we got home quicker, saved our money and didn't waste more time in this absolutely shit soulless pub. Thanks guys yous really know how to kill a party ??

Great Spoons and with a beer garden. Plenty of room for your bike if you happened to have cycled there. Really couldn't fault the fish n'chips and a great range of real ale at a fraction of city pub prices.

My first time having breakfast it was delicious and so fresh. Service was amazing. I think the girls name was amy. I lost my wee bit of paper with her name on it, so sorry about that. I was I think 1 or 2 minutes late, and she spoke with the manager he gave her the all-clear to put it through, so thank you to you too. I have not had a big breakfast for ages. I just took a notion for it and could not believe it. You can have a lot of coffee as you want too, which I finished off with some short bread. Thank you for excellent service and to the chef breakfast. Amazing, I am telling everyone about it. Great value for money. Defo will be back again. Veronica Watson

Food was good , prices for food are good deals , staff seemed bit unhappy and menu could do with a wipe over really sticky with spilt drinks? But would visit again!
