Went into the lion and star before work for a spot of lunch was greeted and seated by the staff on shift I ordered the dirty denvor fries the food that arrived at my table was amazing and the portions where huge compliments to the chef on today will certainly be back

The staff are always really lovely and helpful and go the extra mile to make sure everything's right. We've been a few times and the steak meals are fantastic and great value. The food is delicious and the Lion and Star serves the best onion rings ever! It could do with a wee make over but the food and service make up for that.

Popped in for lunch with family. Were seated quickly with drinks orders taken. Didn't have to wait long for our order, food was delicious hot and fresh with huuge portions, definitely come here again!

Amazing food and nice staff. It has a really nice ambiance, but at the same time if feels like a small town pub. The menu is good, and it has offers for everyone, even vegetarians, and what we ordered was pretty amazing. Will definitely go back when around, and recommend!!
