Have loved coming here for years but even bigger appreciation oh the lovely staff and excellent coffee during maternity leave. They have made us both always feel welcome and we even came for lunch on his first birthday the staff could not have been more helpful and understanding of the mess he made with his lunch. Even going to the trouble of prepping some fruit and natural yogurt because they were out of kids yogurts.

Best breakfast ever. I have read all the rubbish bullshniz on a couple of Facebook groups but l see on the East Dunbartonshire together group that there are so many people who support you and l think the latest publicity will do you far more good than harm. I am the one who is always asking about your chicken and rice soup but even when you don?t have it there is always plenty to choose from.

6/5 for the food! Really tasty, some of the best tasting bacon I've had anywhere in Britain. Really good toasted sandwiches, we had a Chicken and avocado, one of the best my girlfriend has ever had. Soup of the day was also flavourful.
Waiting time for the food was pretty long, although that's partly because of how busy it was. They didn't bring a fork for the lunch deal, only a spoon and a knife, which was a minor inconvenience.
Coffee was good. I enjoyed the Espresso, strong but tasty and not too heavy - close to Italian standard! Same for the Cappuccino.
Atmosphere is that of a bistro. It was very loud, given it gets busy, but all in all pleasant.

This place is amazing. The sandwiches are jaw crackers - stuffed full with fillings which are delicious. Attention to detail about the quality of everything is clearly on the agenda here at Alessio's. Flavours are gutsy and pack a punch. Superb value. Service excellent. Amazing place if you like punchy flavours, your sandwiches packed full to bursting and quality of ingredients top notch. I'd come back to Kirkintilloch simply to visit here. Bravo.
