I have ingrowing eyelashes that cause problems and thanks to the optiicians professionalism and expertise are kept right, I can phone at a minutes notice to get seen to stop any damage to my eyes. Also he has referred me to the hospital to sort a more permenant solution and is overseeing this. I highly recommend and trust in his knowledge .

I have just collected my new specs and am delighted with them . I am so impressed by the professional and friendly service I received from John Caulfield and his team. Discussion about my eyesight and possible treatment was reassuring, and I really appreciated the attention to detail when it came to choosing the best frame for my face and making fine adjustments to the fit. I would highly recommend this optician.

I went to a well known chain of opticians to have a routine eye test, not having had one for years. I had no concerns about my eyes, but was told by the optician that "you definitely need glasses and if you don't get them today, I guarantee you will be back within three months as your eyes will deteriorate". Alarm bells rang as it felt like a sales persons pitch. I then visited John Caulfields opticians to find out that I did not need glasses and three years on I still do not. John Caulfield is a fantastic optician, puts you at ease and above all is honest with you. I will never go back to the big chain opticians now.
