Went for food last night and now myself and the other person who ate it have thrown up twice today. Not 100% sure it was the food but its been the only factor that adds up since it was the only meal we both had.

We got a takeaway last night and tbh was awful. My husband got a new ?special? and it had a foul smell and taste so he had to throw it away and I shared mine with him. The chicken wings were pink inside and undercooked but thankfully we were ok. Probably if honest one of the worst we?ve ever had.Strongly recommend to avoid.

Nice Chinese food here and very friendly owner.. Mongolian pork was spicy and tasty, and sesame chicken was great too!

We ordered some food whilst staying for the weekend. We ordered shredded peaking beef and some chicken satay chow mein. Everything was delicious and a very generous portion as well, definitely recommend and will be back the next time we are visiting ?

My partner and i visited this takeaway tonight and chose several dishes, only then to be told it's a cash only business! We were, however, offered an alternative way to pay. By bank transfer, would you believe? I wonder who's account that was going into? As if we would go to the trouble of setting up a new payee on our bank account, to then make a bank transfer for a takeaway! I know exactly what's going on here!

we have had 6 different meals over 3 nights and will be back there on Thursday , just wish the Chinese takeaways back home in Garforth west Yorkshire were as good .. Large portions , piping hot and delicious ...

Ended up going to this Chinese for ?fish and chips? since the local fish and chip shop didn?t even open until 4pm on a weekend.To be fair to them, a great effort in providing this option as not many others would.Fish was very good, but batter more like what you get on chicken balls and they chips were normal Chinese style.Could be improved by providing mushy peas and tartar sauce, but I still feel lucky to get what we did.

Yesterday, we had a lovely pancake roll and bana fritters from Chens kitchen so I reordered today.But Sunday night takeawayruined. How can you think you can pass off a plantain for a banana and send it out as a banana fritter? It's hard to cut, stodgy and doesn't smell or taste like a banana, and can't be mistaken is green skinned not yellow .Also egg fried rice cane with loads of soy sauce.Saya sauces wererunny and thickened with cornflour.Dissapointed.

I'm 52, I've sampled a fair few Chinese takeaway meals in my time. Chen's Kitchen easily just nudged into my Top 10 ?Salt and pepper rice, amazing. Actual proper fried rice imho. The honey BBQ spare ribs, oh my word, we should have ordered 3 portions, just incredible. My crispy chicken was superb and my son confirmed his chow mein was one of the best he'd ever had. When you worry that you've maybe ordered too much, but then proceed to clear your plate, that's when you know you've found delicious food. Recommended. We'll definitely be back next time we visit ?

Mrs Chens is a staple takeaway in Dumfries and Galloway. Every visit is warm and friendly and the food is delicious. Garlic chicken is my very favourite dish and I can honestly say that in the five years I've been going to Chens, I haven't had a bad meal yet.

Chicken balls were perfect. Spicy haggis rice was nice. Will order again if I'm back in town.
