The Short Review is that this was the easiest and most pleasant encounter I've had ever with something relating to cars. Cannot recommend enough!For me this was my first time scrapping a car and even my first time selling a car so my long review is for anyone who's new at this and is unsure like I was:I sent through an enquiry online on the Sunday, just to test the waters see what the valuation was and what the collection process looked like. Later that same day (I will say is was quite late) I got a text stating the quote. I replied requesting to go ahead, confirmed my address and they confirmed collection (free uplift) date and promised an ETA the day before. I was extra annoying and kept asking questions, which they were pretty happy to answer.I then got a confirmation text on Tuesday with expected time of collection (between 10-11am) and to reply to confirm which I did. I did also get a phone call around the same time from their office with the details, and at this point I was able to ask some questions about the paperwork etc. as mentioned this was my first time selling a car and had no idea what to do.Today (Thursday) I got call at 10.17am from Robert who was so friendly and communicated very clearly, he advised that he was roughly 20 mins away, I explained the road/parking situation at my end and advised that I'd come down to meet him. He then called me just as he was a couple of minutes away and I was able to direct him.When he arrived he was so friendly and lovely, he took care of everything seamlessly and didn't laugh at me when I said I was sad to see her go. So professional and so efficient. Once the car was loaded up, he asked if I preferred a bank transfer or a cheque, so I was given an option, I didn't mind either way so he wrote me a cheque. Robert also took care of all the paperwork and explained what I still needed to do.And that was it! So quick, so easy! I did also look around re. quotes and these guys gave me the best quote too.

Faultless process from start to finish, I had a quote sent to me rapidly and a date for collection not long after. Rhys the driver made things even easier with a quick and safe pickup with prompt payment. A 5 star company I won?t hesitate to call again when the time comes!

Excellent, efficient service. I tried a few places to scrap my broken down car and these were the best. My car was picked up on time and the payment was in before the end of the day, as i was told on the phone. All the staff were very helpful and friendly when i phoned. I would recommend!

Guy who collected car was brilliant. Gave one star because I was told i would have instant payment but was giving cheque instead and told they no longer do same day payments

Absolutely brilliantl price and service from audrey brad and the rest of the team . Turn up when they say they will and top prices offered and same day uplift and payment . I have used them for years and will continue to do so for as long as i can . I highly recommend scrap a car Scotland and would not hesitate recommending them to anyone for vehicle disposal. Scrap A Car Scotland offered the best scrap price of all the companies I tried, the communication was excellent, the service was quick, the cars were picked up at exactly the time agreed and payment was made immediately. I would definitely recommend this company for scrapping end of life vehicles. Very efficient, very professional and very competitive prices.

Very pleased with the service from Scrap A Car Scotland. Submitted the online form, got an offer by email next day, called them up and collection was arranged for two days time. Greg the driver arrived as arranged. Friendly guy and very helpful with completing VC5 info - and gave me a cheque for agreed amount. Happy to recommend these guys.
