Just been in to this store this morning 6/9/25.
It was the best time I have had in this store and it was down to Jackie and then Claire T together to put through our order.It wasn't Jackies department and she tried to get somebody but he was busy.She said I will deal with you till he came.Well all we can say is glad he didn't come.Jackie called Claire with aT to help that was the start of the laughter.They got our our order done with a lot of lets see, never had so much fun.
If you come to get Jackie from paint or Claire with a T from trade your in for a great experience.

Our first time using B&Q in Kirkcaldy. Very impressed, the staff were welcoming and accommodating, especially Cammy in the timber cutting section. He went above and beyond with helping us select appropriate materials and cutting them to size for us! Thank you so much for all your help, we'll definitely be back!

Jamie in the garden centre was an absolute pleasure today. She really took her time helping me choose the right plants for my flower bed and discussed caring for them too. Can?t thank you enough for your help. 5 stars is no where near enough for the outstanding customer service you delivered today!

Used this store a couple of times, well
stocked and staff is very informative :)
We had an amazing experience this weekend when Neil & Nick helped us out, we weren?t sure what to get exactly and we needed advice on how to do something and they explained everything in detail and dedicated a great amount of time to us, we felt really valued and we are beyond grateful for their help!

It was Thursday 1st of may I went to buy paint
As I went into the store I was welcomed but the security man who said good evening to me and he was well dressed and had a smile, good on him he must enjoy his job
Other stores I?ve been in never had that experience
Thought I will tell you this as probably people complain a lot
I?m a farmer and get trade discount
I think that worker needs a pat on the back
I fact all your worker as there very helpful if needed

I arrived in store at 19.30 hours on the 16th of April, to collect a pressure washer I had purchased on the click and collect, and was greeted at the collection point by a male member of staff, (unfortunately I can't remember his name) who was very helpful and efficient, along with being polite and curtious, He is a credit to B&Q and to the store.

I was in the store early Saturday morning requiring assistance with wood cutting for skirting boards. Customer service from Cammy was 5 star, very polite, professional, knowledgeable and super helpful to have the boards cut an and then run through the till. This young man is credit to the store

One of your staff Neil was extremely helpful yesterday (Thursday 23rd Jan). I had just got a large sheet of MDF cut length wise, so the largest piece 2.44m x 1m was still quite large to handle. After your cutting staff helpfully put it on the trolley Neil asked me if I needed any help. He then assisted in taking it out to my van half way across the car park and as soon as I had the rear doors open lifted it in for me.
I am 74 and very likely would have struggled with it.

I phoned them prior going to the store asking for timber cutting , customer service said yes, you can come, we are till 8pm. I went to the store at about 7pm, and they said there were nobody available to cut timber.. i felt frustrated for my journey to go there...?
