Worst Indian i have been in. Good bland and cubes of cheap chicken used in curries, like one,s you get in a supermarket. Few of us went there while on golf outing, all agreed curries were really poor, would not go back. Stay clear of you like a decent curry.

Often get carryouts from this restaurant - they always deliver late. The food is good, but if they say 20 minutes, expect itto take 30 or 40 even.

The food was fine. Lamb tikka was a little small portion and chewy, but the veggie platter was big and very tasteful. Naan was nice and fluffy. There was a big group of rowdy guys in the restaurant (nothing the restaurant can do anything about), but with their noise it became very hard to communicate as it is a bit of an echo chamber.

Buffet night poor.
Food was good, if mildly spiced.
They were running out of food at 7pm and reluctant to replenish the buffet, although it was advertised until 9pm.

Wife and I have been to eat in a few times. Food has always been of a very good standard and lots of it. Very attentive staff. If you get more than a dozen people in the restaurant and all talking at once you can't hear yourself think. Would highly recommend their food.

Buffet night at the Raj Mahal was disappointing . It was not a great selection, and the topping up of what was there was no existent. Mediocre at best. No atmosphere

Had a meal here with a friend on Friday night. The food was amateurish: over-cooked lamb chops, no depth of flavour in the curry sauces. The Chicken Biryani was oily and heavy on the turmeric. The Goan Chicken tasted like a jar of shop bought sauce with no depth of flavour. The staff were uninterested and dismissive of the feedback. Its been 10 years since I last tried this place, and I'll not be back in the next 10. The food was eaten as we were both hungry, and it was edible. I expect to eat out and be served food better than I can prepare at home. This was sadly not the case. I told 2 of the staff members that I was very disappointed, but they didn't seem to care.

Food was good and hot. Staff are awful, unfriendly, rude, no eye contact. The atmosphere in the restaurant is just rubbish.

Twice in a row we have ordered here and twice the order has been short. First time there was no starter with the set meal and the second time we didn?t get the popadoms we ordered and paid for. Food is decent but they are definitely stingy with the meat in the set meal curries. Taste is good however. Service is ok.
