Last night, Monday 25th August, must be classified as the most expensive absolute worst sleep I've had in a long time.
I totally understand our duty to be sustainable, to reuse, and be minimalist but this is just not right.
£150 per night is laughable, for the matress in room 5 which has allowed me no more than 4 hours sleep - offers no stability and support, no comfort, lumpy, old and dilapidating.
The bed frame is needing replacement, something out of the 80's style, and restricts usage to shorter people.
The duvet cover is old, dated and scratchy combined with the decor in the room, is quite unwelcoming.
And that beeping, that damn beeping all night long, piercing every sound, including the rain.
The photos used on your website and other web pages and social media should be carefully reviewed and updated, as this establishment is a former picture of those pictures taken in the past.
The pub/restaurant requires a deep clean, in fact during both lunch and dinner service I did not see one single table being wiped down.
I urge you to do some market research, to really understand what is available out there for the same price.
This Inn is disappointing clients, read the reviews and do something about it.
I'm sure a stress free, comfortable sleep should restore me.
Good luck.

Terrible customer service unfortunately.
Served inedible food which was highlighted and not eaten at the table and returned to the kitchen.
Other parties food was acceptable but nothing special.
Staff unwilling to remove from the bill when questioned and were very unhelpful and obstructive. Insisted food was eaten when it clearly wasn?t. The pub a few doors down is much nicer. Would recommend there instead.

Great pub, staff and venue. Very cosey

Whilst I cannot comment on the rooms as I stayed elsewhere, our group did book this venue for food and drinks as part of our WHW trip. The seats were dirty with grease patches and leftovers. The staff were polite and tried to accommodate our request for some ambient noise (could hear a pin drop in the place), but had Internet troubles. The food was straight out of the microwave, let's just call it bland. The building interior is tired and in need of a refurb but has good capacity and lots of potential. I should also add that one of the hand rails on an entrance at the front was not attached at the base and would be a danger to anyone who used it.

Pleasant interior. OK meatball pasta (EDIT upset stomach now ) but avoid the lasagna as it is hard as a brick. Although not expensive, expected better for at this price. Music quite loud

I'm in room one. The locked storage closet next to my room started emmiting a beeping sound at 6pm. I was able to get the staff to shut it off, but it started again at 10:45 pm and no staff were around to shut it off. Can't sleep.

OK for stopping on the WHW, but very old and soft beds. Good cider and great atmosphere in the pub, order and pay at the bar. Food was OK except I got sick from the fish & chips, maybe old oil. Skip the breakfast! Best to pick up coffee & sandwiches from the local sandwich shop.

Went as a tourist , they kept messing up my order and there?s no structure. Once my food came 40 mins later and it was still an incorrect order. Long day spending your time here

We only had dinner here. The venison pie, fish and chips and three cheese macaroni and cheese were most excellent! To order your food, you have to go to the bar and pay for it as well. The food was fresh and came out in a reasonable time. The restaurant is on the small side and a quaint rustic mountain place.

The location is good, close to the supermarket but the environment is terrible, there is potato chips garbage in the bedside drawer and the bathroom toilet seat is broken, also the carpet is really dirty and the wooden floor is noisy when walking.

Stayed here in June 2025 .
No tv remote
Very old and outdated room
Heating so hot in the room and thermostat didn?t work
Air lock in the system causing a terrible noise
Exposed light fittings
Awful creeking floorboards in the corridor which amplifies our room
£300 for two nights with no breakfast
Traumatised from our stay
Contacted trading standards

The bathroom wasn't very clean, neither was the bedlinnen. Reception was - and this was a first in Scotland - very cool. We couldn't open our window due to the exhaust fumes of a nearby diesel engine. The whole night a laundry machine was beeping and keeping us awake. This was our most expensive booking on the whole West Highland Way.
