I didn't eat or stay but had a great time nonetheless.. Visited first weekend of February 2024.. Friendly staff and locals even when pub was fairly busy the barman took the welcome folk into the pub and have a bit of banter whether you were a local or like me just a visitor, went back on my own on Sunday evening it was just the barman (same guy as previous visits) and a lady who were in I had a great night chatting to them and having a laugh made me feel very comfortable and welcome and it's appreciated hence this review..Food & drinks: Didn't try the food but a decent range of beers whisky etc

The photos available on here don't adequately do this Inn justice.We stayed on the final leg of our West Highland Way walk and it was fantastic. Friendly staff, great location, spacious, clean room with comfortable bed and great bathroom - nice and quiet at night. The style is a little 'old fashioned' but this suits the location! Our room overlooked the river and the views were fabulous. We had a lovely breakfast the next morning too.Highly recommend, we would return.

Popped in during the off season and this is exactly what you want in proper pub. Owner was pulling draughts and spinning yarn (he has a great back story and wonderful wit). Balcony was closed when we were there but he graciously showed us the view, not only is it fantastically hidden but the view is perfect. If you're nearby make a point to stop in, 1000% well worth it.

SO GOODWould recommend this place had great service and very kind bartenders who served AMAZING food and I would recommend for kids and although there is desert menu is small they have good options love this place will come back . ??????Food & drinks: AMAZING is the only word to describe it so impressed

Popped in for lunch we both had cheese toasties which were very good, cant really go wrong with a toasty thought. The staff were brilliant and very friendly and welcoming. No problems here. A very ckean and tidy

Unfortunately we didn?t stay here, but we came in for drinks at the bar and it was a lovely experience. The adorable British gentleman bartending, along with the locals and their sweet pup made it a genuinely wonderful night.

Restaurant review--our BnB host recommended here and it was spot on. You can eat in the main dining room on the balcony or in the bar. (make a reservation ahead of time for the main restaurant). Good food, friendly staff.

Highly recommend this Inn.....from the very lovely staff, to the more than comfortable rooms. The downstairs bar is comfy cosy. The upstairs restaurant is worth a special mention, as the views are spectacular. The food we had was tasty and reasonably priced.Would not hesitate to book again.

If you like local hangouts for local easy eats then this is a good stop. Located in the once industrial village of Kinlochleven, where once 800 men were employed in the aluminium smelt factory.The pub is also a superb stop for a warm drink and honest pub food if you're walking the West Highland Way. It's the second to final stage (Devils Staircase to Kinlochleven) or Fort William to Kinlochleven depending upon which way you're hiking.Food & drinks: Decent basic pub grub. All cooked fresh. Won't win awards but served wonderfully and good creaic

I was booked here on my WHW last night. I couldn?t be happier! The place is really nice. The room was large with everything even a nice big tub. The bed was comfortable, room was very clean and the nice lady that let me checkin showed me to my room and explained everything. The Wi-Fi was a little slow at times but worked. I had dinner downstairs in the bar and it was really good. I couldn?t have asked for a better stay.

The most lovely stay along our WHW journey. Warm welcome, perfect rooms, great food and the town is beautiful. Even saw a deer walking the streets in the evening!

Perfect B &B at end of day hiking the West Highland Way. Just off the trail, on a primary road, but very quiet (think all of Kinlochleven is quiet). Very solicitous service from nice folks. The rooms are right next door to the pub and restaurant, which both provide great service and fine food. Nice little seating area outside to rest after a day of hiking. Would definitely go back if in the area.

Absolute 5/5 for highland getaway.The room was fantastic, comfy, fresh smelling bedding, super cosy and clean.Massive shout out to Kate who went above and beyond helping me with my blistered feet. Carried my bags to the room, got me dressings and helped me clean up my feet. She was also super friendly and funny, felt like home.The food was outstanding for breakfast and dinner. Again amazing service. Can?t wait to go back (minus the sore feet)
