We dropped in on the Boathouse on Mother's day, reluctantly as we thought it would be manic but the weather was so bad we needed a break. SIx of were seated quickly and warmly by the girl on the door. We were mostly in for cake and drinks. What surprised me most was how reasonable the prices were! All of our servers were so lovely and we were served so quickly despite it being busy. All the staff were very young and an absolute credit to the company. I had a gf/vegan cake which was one of the best cakes I have ever had. It was a cherry and almond cake and was light as a feather. Our kids all had chips which were straight out of the fryer and delicious, as was the soup. Reasonable prices, lovely food and epic staff. Bravo Boathouse.

Really nice atmosphere and location.Shown to the table by Janetta whose was very pleasant.
Drinks ordered were promptly delivered and a just the right time to allow us to settle.Food all came together which was fish and chips,x4 fish pies and a pizza.Pizza delivered was meat which I don't eat so this was taken away and a new pizza brought which unfortunately was cold in the middle.This was taken away and a new one brought but I was then eating on my own as everyone had finished.A good place knows how to deal with such issues and the customer service given by Jeanette was fantastic with the pizza taken off and apologies given.I would return when back in Scotland as all the food was enjoyed.
Great customer service from Jeanette so 10/10.

Went for lunch and have to say the staff were absolutely lovely the flat white and the latte were delicious ? and perfectly made with beautiful latte art? the lunch wasn't bad either?club sandwich was delicious well deserved 5????? special mention to the lovely girl that served us and made the gorgeous coffee . And you can take your dog big bonus she loved her sausages ?? back again and have to say everything is still awesome also a new mgr Zaneta who is absolutely lovely she is so good with all the customers and asset to your company the reason we've come back ?
