I recently bought a special fish supper which was dreadful. The fish, supposedly Haddock was dry and chewy and clearly not fresh and the breadcrumbs hard and overcooked. Chips were soggy and greasy and clearly oil needed changing. Overall inedible and a total waste of money.

We were passing through Kilsyth and I needed a chippy. This hit the spot. Chips were cooked to perfection. Golden and crispy. The batter was lovely and crispy too. Staff friendly. Delicious. Thanks Angelos

Sausage not the same, Caulders have supplied for years, minor fact but if this is your order frequently then not good. Won't be ordering unless I have to. Fish n chips lovely though ?

If this is the best chippy - according to other reviews - that Kilsyth has to offer then it's a sad state of affairs in Kilsyth as the food we had today was nothing short horrendous - over cooked hamburgers, tasteless chips, tasteless haddock with soggy batter and cold!

This used to be the best chippy years ago but has went down hill.Prices have shot up and food portions are smaller and standards have dropped.Could be doing with a deep clean.Staff wearing their work clothes to and from work poor hygiene when working with food.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options available but all fried in the same oil as the meats and fish ect.
