“Cheapest fuel I could find anywhere... I was over that way for work and saw the price so filled up as it was £1.48.9 which is still crazy but less crazy than other parts of Scotland I go to so I got a(kind of) bargain.. ??”
“Great store. Spotlessly clean.I'm diabetic. Needed to use loo.Staff member couldn't have been more helpful. Only reason for 4 stars, not 5, is that it's a hit & miss if the items you're looking for are in stock or not...”
“pretty much your standard lidl store with good deals and amazing bakery. no self check-out counter yet, but managing well. What I could suggest, however, is to install proper bike racks.”
“I had a very positive experience at Asda, with support through my whole shop. Every member of staff I asked for help responded with genuineness, often a smile or at very least a considered response or direction to where I would find the answer. I felt the staff i encountered truly valued what they did, which shows when responding to customers and fills me with hope, as my local refuse collection team don't quite value the service they provide, but that's another feedback. I'll try not to detract, I do like giving the full story though.
I walk with 2 walking aids, that I place in my trolley while shopping and mobilise with the trolley, as shown by my lovely msk physio that I've had the fortune to have seen twice for assessment. Feeling confident in being able to move around safely is very important to me. To be seen and heard and then responded to makes my life so much easier as I like to venture out when I feel well enough and not rely on the likes of the delivery service.
Usually, I get exhausted quite quickly, grab the essentials and go without completing my full shop. I don't often have the energy to mosey around like I used to and would like to. I didn't feel in the way of other customers, as unusually, I'd
managed to get out very early for me to avoid the busyness of festive shopping.
I will definitely try this time of day again and thoroughly appreciate all the support I received. For me, I don't get to interact much with fellow human beings. Any interaction is truly meaningful to me and can set my day up in a positive light.
Sadly, I encountered some trolley rage from a fellow shopper in the car park on my way to return my trolley to the shelter. She cut me up, saying excuse me and expecting me to get out of her road to get to her car seconds quicker than if she had waited for me to slowly continue to the shelter. Usually I couldn't be arsed with this type of behaviour and just ignore or step put of the way. However, something inside me said "No" why is her journey any more important than mine? So the internal 'no' came out followed by 'have a bit of patience and wait,' to which I got 'you're just feckin ignorant!' 'I did say excuse me'. Unfortunately, i dont respond well to being called ignorant, it's the very last thing I am. So I went a bit Essex on her ass and let her know she was the feckin ignorant one and continued my way to the shelter while she mumbled stuff under her breath putting her messages away. She was still hiding behind her parcel shelf muttering when I made my walk back to my car with my trusty walking aids. I couldn't hold it in and just said 'by the way, you're not excused!' To which i got another 'you're just feckin ignorant'.
My response …'I'm not feckin ignorant…I'm disabled!'
It was a bit of a Mike drop moment. Hopefully fellow shoppers like her may take a moment to reflect on how the person to be perceived as in their road and holding them back might have really struggled to achieve something as simple as a bit of shopping that day.
At first it angered and upset me, but I can't hold on to such negativity. So, Firestarter on in the car singing at the top of my lungs soon shifted that feeling, then a Google review a few days later puts the encounter in its place. In the whole, people are kind considerate and compassionate towards me. Just like the Asda staff … be more like them and make the world or at least my local community a better place.
Thank you Asda”

“Always do some of my weekly shop in this store. Since the "cost crisis" the days of getting great bargains in shops is probably over but their prices are still respectable. Wide variety of stock. I've always found the staff to be friendly with a sense of humour.”

“I did some shopping here today for the first time and thought it was an excellent store. The fruit and vegetables are very eye catching, well laid out and fresh. There's a good range of chilled soup in cartons including some tempting vegetarian choices (I liked the sound of the Moroccan Vegetable Harira!) and a nice selection of quorn products. You'll find just about all the foods and other things you'd expect in any good supermarket canned, chilled, frozen and fresh, including lovely breads and cakes. There's also a useful 'Free From' range, ready meals and snacks which included vegetable sushi, which I'd never seen before (I shall buy some of that next time). You'll also find greetings cards, stationery, magazines and newspapers. Opening hours: Monday-Saturday 8.00am-9.00pm Sunday 9.00am-7.00pm”
“The till staff in this store are like a cross between your favourite Auntie or Uncle with a buddhist guru. They dispense warm sunny greetings with wonderful lifestyle advice and by the time you are packing your bags you want to sing out Gouranga”

“I found the store to be full for choice, friendly staff members, and easy access to the grounds. The fact that staff are being replaced by automated machines is still a bug bear of mine. However, the store still had staff manned tills, and they were a delight to talk to.”

“A very good and ethical business, I always like to shop at a 'Co-op' as many of their products are trade-fair; they are the largest retailer to sell exclusively free range eggs, and has one of the strictest non-animal testing policies of all grocery retailers. This store in Stewarton has a great range of fresh, canned, chilled and frozen food; magazines and newspapers, confectionery, toiletries, medicines, toys, greetings cards and fresh flowers. They also have a rack of DVDs on sale from £1.99 at present. There's a cash point directly outside. The store is open 24 hours 7 days a week.”

“I'm amazed at some of the previous reviews which criticised the cafe so severely! We found it fantastic - full cooked breakfasts for only £2 and quite delicious! It was a clean and pleasant cafe too and the staff were very helpful and nice. The rest of the store is great as well with good quality clothing - again, such low prices it's really astonishing! The grocery and household departments are also excellent; I have nothing but praise for this store where we've now been several times!”

“I was in today for the post office and had a parcel to return. The label wasn't for royal mail but for ups and the girls who were there so helpful in directing me, so pleasant and didn't feel anything was a bother which is something I haven't encountered for a while”
“Aldi has great savings , one of the best tasting fresh meats , of which there's a great variety, best thing for me though is the long expiry dates unlike other stores where you have to rush home and eat your bagged salad before it goes out of date , all in all great produce at a great price with the added bonus of homeward too”
