Update: CeX claim stock levels are updated in real time - clearly wasn't.
Travelled from Glasgow to buy an item only to find out staff took it home to buy for themselves. Was still listed as available online. When asking for the item, staff member disappeared for ages only to come back with the label and nothing else and informed another staff member took it home. Complete wasted trip only to find out the staff snapped it up without removing it from the Cex system.

It's a ok shop to find second hand stuff but it's very pricey. To ur reply. I get wat ur saying but for second hand stuff the price is unreasonable ur better off buying brand-new and getting a years guarantee rather than paying for something thats second hand and 30 pounds or so cheaper

Great range of movies, games, accessories and hardware. I picked up Bluray Superman I and II. Would recommend for anyone looking for movies or gaming kit. X

A clean shop directly located on the high Street next to a small mall.
No direct parking out the front but there are multiple car parks nearby.
The staff are kind and honest and every time I have used the service for buying and selling no issues have ever arrived.
I do think sometimes their prices are on the little cheap side when you trade in goods but overall they provide a decent and good service.

Decent for dvds, the gaming section leaves much to be desired, saying that I'm looking at PS5 games. See a lot of games for other consoles. It is worth a wee visit for the films and boxsets alone.

Took in a 3 week old Samsung Z fold 4 today undamaged in a protective case to sell and got it back damaged. Phone was reset in front of the staff member and all screens shown as undamaged. When I returned to collect the phone or payment 45mins later I was told the front screen had damage. The staff had collected at the back to discuss the phone and said damaged for at least 5 mins before speaking to me. Going to other stores for information they said it looked like pressure had been applied to that part of the phone damaging the LCD screen. Staff at CEX kilmarnock deny all knowledge with knowing smirks.
