There is no obvious reception point marked to go to when you first enter, leaving you standing around waiting for staff to notice you. The staff however were friendly and efficient. I found it funny that the unlimited mileage had a limit.My car was clean and ready for collection. I had no problems and was happy with the car. Upon return the handover was similarly quick and efficient.

Took new car in with 3 faults. Came back week later same faults and another one so that makes 4. Said it had been for a test run funny that I took photo of mileage before i droped car off and it was the same. So no test drive done. Taking car to trusted garage we use to put faults right. Asked them to forward bill for work to rectify faults not fixed to this outlet.

I had a very bad experience purchasing a car at Arnold Clark. It was my first time buying a car on my own, and most likely my last time buying from Arnold Clark. Firstly, they do not know the cost of the car they are selling. While making the payment, I asked if this was the total amount I would have to pay, and the answer was yes. However, they later called and emailed me saying that I need to pay more because something was miscalculated. Secondly, the car does not have a service book. When I asked where it was, they sent me a new, empty book. I have no information about the car's details. There are no records of if, how, and when the car was serviced. Overall, I do not recommend them to anyone.Even on their website, it states that when purchasing a used car, one should make sure it comes with a service book, as this is one of the things that can decrease the car?s value if missing. What this whole purchase situation has definitely decreased is the value of Arnold Clark as a company in my eyes; it is now quite low.
