First time visit to cairn. Went to meet my daughter for brunch. Had cairn club sandwich, was really tasty and was big portion ?. Also had a cappuccino. Good choices on the menu, plenty of options for vegetarian and vegan food.. Definitely recommend a visit if you're in Kilmacolm.

Just been to cairn today very disappointed have been a few times and had great sevice but not today firstly they lost our brunch order no apologies and when we eventually got our orders my fried egg was cremated, mushrooms hard,broccoli over cooked. All in all very disappointed when the waitress brought the order I looked at my watch as my husband had an appointment and she quite rudely said apologies again for your order being late (i didnt get an apology
the first time) won't be returning

Had a couple of fantastic meals from Cairn.
Day one: Breakfast rolls to take away, made with Morton?s crispy rolls?a delicious blast from the past for someone who?s been away from Scotland for a while.
Day two: Lunch featuring the Philly cheese, buttermilk chicken, and a club sandwich?all absolutely delicious!
The service was great and very friendly, the room was stylish, and the coffee was decent too. Can?t praise it enough and will definitely be back next time I visit!
