Fantastic gem of a place and the highlight of our trip. Friendly atmosphere for the rugby (with amazing pies), returned for dinner and the food was great. Reasonably priced and dog friendly, and a really welcoming atmosphere. We'll be back!

I am just reviewing the food as did not stay.Truly a wonderful place to visit. The staff are so lovely and welcoming. The menu is different.Everything so fresh. The food is brilliant. We particularly loved the Cullen Skink and Stornaway Stack. The wine and beer weren?t bad either. ?I wish it were my local. Will have to come back to Killin just to eat and drink here. We?ve eaten in every other establishment in Killin and the Courie is by far the best in every respect.Happily accepted our dogs. Who are well behaved but treats and water provided.Just can?t praise this establishment and the family who run it enough.

Had an excellent meal here, it's not just a hotel but a very good restaurant. A reasonable selection of vegetarian options were also available. Would definitely recommend it.

We've stayed here several times and it's always a pleasure. Staff are lovely. Rooms are good- though I have to say, if they ever stop putting Tunnocks Tea Cakes on the hospitality desk I may have to think again about staying!! Joking aside, would definitely recommend the Inn.

We visited for food on a Sunday night in October - booking advised. Wow, what a welcome, from the friendly family who run the business, beautiful atmosphere to amazing food! Michael and Lynne truly welcomed us and also gave us great advice on the local area. We are both vegan and had multiple options for each course. Highly recommend.

Fantastic place, way above average - had a great diner! Menu is attractive (no mere pub food), ingredients are tasteful and dishes are very well executed. Great price/quality deal. Ambiance is also nice and cozy. To put it simply, a place to try!

I called in for an early supper after a day exploring. The staff were friendly and welcoming and gave me a table in the window. There were lots of interesting dishes to choose from. I chose the slow roasted lamb rump with crushed potatoes and roasted veg. It was absolutely delicious and a very generous portion leaving no room for desert ? I visited 5 years ago and the food was just as good then. A lovely bistro that I'm sure I will return to again.

If you're looking for a peaceful retreat, Mountain View Lodge is the perfect choice. Nestled in the mountains, the views were absolutely breathtaking. The lodge itself was cozy and charming, with attentive and warm-hearted staff. The hiking trails nearby were a nature lover's paradise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return for another mountain escape.

A nice place to stay in a little laid back village that is busy during the day due to the river and the old bridge. Rooms are small and as expected in a historic building. The food in the pub/restaurant was excellent at night as well as for breakfast. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Can be a bit of noise from the pub it does not go on too late.

Wonderful little family run business. It has such a homely feel and the staff are very welcoming. We only went there for dinner this time but next time we visit Killin we would look to stay there. The food was lovely and very reasonably priced. At one point we were discussing where we could go for a walk the next day and the waitress asked her dad (who I think was the chef) to come and explain to us where we could go for a lovely walk (if you're reading this, we did find it, thank you!). If you're in Killin, a visit here is a must.
