Dined here last night 9/8,lovely table overlooking the loch, beautiful view. Nice atmosphere gorgeous food especially the Cullen Skink, steak and seafood tagliatelle. Staff very friendly, nothing a problem.

We phoned at 4:40pm to book a table for the same day and got 7pm, as we were told this was when there would be space for us as they were very busy that night. Upon arrival we found a half empty dining area.
Once we were seated we were told that their fish delivery hadn't arrived which resulted in half the menu being unavailable. This should have been explained when booking the table.
We had the cheese and bacon burger and a steak pie. The food appeared quite literally about 5 minutes after ordering. The look of scepticism was apparent on our faces and our server. The food was enjoyable but very clearly could not have been freshly prepared and doesn't justify the price.
The servers were nice and personable which was the saving of the experience although at no point were we asked if everything was OK or if we enjoyed the food.
All in all a disappointing experience compared to what we hoped for.
Its not a place that needs to be avoided or anything so drastic. That being said, we wouldnt go back.

What a great spot. We are here 3 nights in a row and everything on the menu was great. What a treat to have such a fabulous spot right where we were staying. It became our ?regular? very quickly. Staff were super friendly. I would highly recommend the place. We look forward to coming back. Thank you.

We were blown away by the views, staff and food. Our soup starter was delicious ( clearly home made) and all 3 mains were fresh, well cooked and presented. The prices were fair too. The staff were very friendly and service was excellent!
The restaurant was a little noisy but we had a great lunch. Highly reccomended!

are here twice this week and both times was amazing . All staff were amazing also made up feel welcome made

I?ll give it 2 stars because it?s in a nice setting and the one drink I got was nice. Id have ordered food but id not booked a table?.. fair enough I suppose I imagine they were rushed off their feet serving the other customer and were unable to fit us in. Apparently no tables are available but as I write this I can see 19 entirely empty tables. In fact I can only see 2 occupied tables and I?m at one of them.
Maybe they?re going to get busy later but in that case say ?we?re going to get busy later? not ?no?. You need to book as soon as you get here?

Food was ok, nice setting but if you want to buy some alcohol to take back to your lodge the woman in the restaurant will try to charge you £100 for a bottle of vodka, definitely trying to pull a fast one! Won't be back

Will not visit again .The only plus was the beautiful view.
Children meals awful and a rip off.My Sunday lunch was disappointing.Waited over an hour for main course not acceptable with 3 children.They were not busy so no excuses.

A mixed experience. Excellent, friendly and efficient service. Nice view and atmosphere. The food was sadly not so great. Out of three dishes the haggis was nice, the pie not good at all and the chicken breast passable. And definitely pricey for what it was.
