Very dirty, like really dirty.
Showers are filthy, vents are moldy and dusty so definitely not healthy to breathe in.
3 spiders in the bathroom.
2 spiders in my lodge.
I shouldn't just walk into my room and be able too see so many insects, some dead and some alive.
All the parking is grass/slanted/muddy so be prepared if your not visiting in a large truck/high bedded vehicle.

Food and drinks: Found this great place by accident, lovely lady running the cafe/toilets & caravan bookings, lovely view of the lake

DANGER!!! According to the booking confirmation, we should receive a studio with a full French bed and various facilities, plus check in between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.
On site (shortly after 5 p.m.) there is a sign from 5 p.m. only to contact the night watchman by telephone. This person allocated accommodation using a piece of paper with an assignment and did not allow any conversation.
We were given a wooden shack with a kind of couch, completely dirty and impossible to lie on. Despite 4 layers of clothing it was incredibly cold, no heating. The community washrooms and toilet were not usable. Incredibly dirty, urinating in the corner, cigarettes in the sink and much more.
We will not only demand a refund but also compensation for damages!!!

Excellent camping site for passing through to reach the Northern lands coming from Edinburgh.
Affordable price and special Hobbit-sized houses ?
Rooms: If you choose the Hobbit style houses, be prepared for a very hard mattress, however personally I still slept well!
There is a fridge and coffee maker, not bad!!

Great campsite! Lovely location, friendly staff (although I only saw them once), and decent facilities. Showers were warm and had good water pressure! The loch was also close by, with a short walk down through some nice woodland. Really enjoyed our stay :)

Nice I liked it I stayed in the hob pod

The day of our arrival, one of us got injured and we asked if it was possible to get a refund (20£ for one night with a small tent). They said no even if we could provide a medical document. I have been told that cancellations had to be done 8 weeks before arrivals.

Visiting the Loch Tay area with family, the Cruachan Farm Caravan & Camping Park is the ideal base. The site offers a range of different accommodation options. We stayed in one of the Original Caravans, which had two bedrooms and a pull-out sofa bed in the lounge. The open plan living area made it perfect for us to enjoy precious family leisure time together without feeling as though we were on top of each other.

Lovely location, but facilities are in need of better upkeep. The showers were a mess and the toilets were often without toilet paper. The camping area is all on a slope and you'll need a long EHU cable if you are planning on using electricity. Perhaps it was the right conditions for them but the midges were unbearable and we had at least 5 ticks to remove from our group

This place is set with beautiful views of the hills and a 10min walk to the loch through the woods. I stayed on the caravan pitch and u will need a 15-20 meter EHU cable. The pitches for caravans are fairly level to and the pegs went in the ground easy enough for awnings. There is also picnic tables you can use if one is available. The showers and toilet are basic and are in need of a deep clean in some areas like vents and a few other places and have leaky taps and leaky shower heads. U can access the next site over and launch kayaks or paddle boards on the loch. If you?re coming here in a tent looks like all pitches are on a slant. This is a peaceful site on the caravan side but the tent Field looked packed, busy and noisy.

We had a hob (pod) that wasn't very fresh inside. There were no pictures of the inside of the hub (pod) when booking online. Only 1 photo of the outside from a greater distance.
Fortunately, we were well prepared with fitted sheets and sleeping bags. (Really a must for your own hygiene). There was only a musty sofa bed with dirty pillows.
The toilet blocks and shower were very tired. They could use a major cleaning and even a major renovation. The shower was nice and warm.
Furthermore, very dated and tired.

Enjoyed the stay, it was one overnight, would have been better if we had booked a couple of days. The pod was like the Tardis from Dr. Who, small outside, big inside. Toilet/shower/washing machine facilities were a five minute walk down the road. We brought our pillows and quilt cover for couch which becomes a fold out mattress and is very comfortable. Weather was overcast that evening but we just chilled in comfort watching Glastonbury on the TV provided.
Highly recommended for Glampers and Campers. ???

Stayed in an octopod with three friends and a dog. The showers and toilets were clean with plenty hot water. The pod was lovely except for the beds which are very hard. The pod has basic cutlery, bowls and glasses. Friendly staff and quick response from the out of hours assistance when we had a problem.

We have a caravan here. It's been a very basic site over the years. Recently been taken over by largoleisure (Lochtay Highland lodges). Great improvements already. Especially the friendly staff Wendy and her husband. Chilled, friendly site.
Nearby activities: Can use as a base to drive to local activities
Noteworthy details: Quiet site. Can use the site next door (owned by the same company) for the restaurant and facilities and activity booking.

One of places I live to go back. Owners changed and it's not the same anymore, they need to work on few things. But still nice place.
