Just visited this pub with my dog and had such a lovely experience. The food was excellent. What stood out most, though, was the staff. They were warm, welcoming and genuinely friendly, not only to me and my family but especially towards my dog. A great spot if you?re looking for good food in a really dog?friendly atmosphere.

Great food, really helpful and friendly to us and our young family. Food was wonderful though they did forget our potatoes on our meal but never the less would go again

Had a family lunch for 7 at the Old Mill to celebrate birthday. Booked ahead and found plenty of tables which soon began to fill up. Took a table outside under the large canopy. Gave great protection on a very hot day but also allowed a nice breeze. Atmosphere was relaxed and informal. Staff were very cheery and attentive despite being very busy.
Good selection on the menu. For mains we had sea trout, scampi, saltimbocca and the full rack of ribs. All was cooked perfectly and tasty. Ribs were delicious and not overly seasoned. Chips were top class, and included some crispy scraps.
We finished with puddings and again we're not disappointed. Lemon posset was creamy and smooth and topped with fresh strawberries. Sticky toffee puddings were a good size and delicious.
With drinks we paid about £30 a head. Great food and good value. We will be back.
Again, hats off to the staff for great service on a hot and busy day.

Lovely food and nice area to sit out. Downside was £13.50 for a large glass of Malbec and £6.70 for a small glass of Pinot Grigio so ask for drinks menu before you order. Other than that couldn't fault it

Terrible service, given menus and told food would take 30 minutes, checked menus went to bar. I stood there patiently while being blanked by staff then another customer approached bar and was served with food order. Then bar staff tell me no more food orders are being taken

Not a lot of options in the area and very difficult to find fresh vegetables or salads. It was really only burgers or ribs and fries or potato salad. We did get a little side salad but not the birthday dinner we hoped for.

Great pub and restaurant. Beer festival looked just great. Was a good decision to be there during our short stay

We visited The Old Mill during a weekend break from Worcestershire.
The food was exceptional, as was the service, all of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items.
The only negative were the amount of dogs in the restaurant, one table had 4 dogs, some of which were on the chairs.

We went to The Old Mill last weekend. The manager was very welcoming and was able to accommodate us without a booking. We had to wait for a bit but we could get pints and wait outside in the tent so it was no bother.
The entire staff were brilliant and very attentive and friendly.
The food was delicious, we both ordered the venison burgers with fries.
We were offered a high chair for our baby who spent the entire meal babbling and chatting to the friendly staff.
All in all it was a perfect day out for us and the service and food and the drive there made it worthwhile.

Went to celebrate a birthday with friends and as it was a warm day we sat outside. We had booked so went into the bar and checked in and as we expressed a preference for outside they gave us 1 menu and we went to find a table.
It took at least half an hour to get drinks and the order taken despite attracting attention with passing staff. If felt like there was no way of managing tables outside.
The food took an inordinate amount of time to come but when it did it was fine apart from the lamb two ways dish which was tiny.
We enjoyed ourselves regardless but could be much better. Previously we have been here indoors and on those occasions it was excellent.
