Cracking little friendly cafe. Just popped in for a quick lunch. The sandwiches were amazing. Staff efficient and friendly. Very good value.

Such a shame that their online presence is wrong. They arbitrarily decided to close at 3pm. Luckily, the Cross Keys hotel is happy to serve customers with scones into the late, late hours of 3:15!!! Please think of people who don?t live in Kelso and keep your online profile accurate.

Lovely, cosy tea- and lunch room, very pleasant place!
There is a good atmosphere, mostly due to the friendly staff, but the place does look nice too ?
Only came for a coffee (well, two actually), but I'll be back to try the menu.

Only one word to describe here, OUTSTANDING.
As a vegetarian, breakfasts in cafes are some time disappointing. Not here, by far the best breakfast I've had, it was amazing. And my colleagues found there not veggie breakfast to be prefect too.
The service & staff is brilliant, couldn't fault anything.

Just been in for a birthday treat afternoon tea whilst on holiday in Kelso ? never have I ever had an afternoon tea with as much delicious food so much so that we couldn?t even start on the sweet treats, the selection was amazing, the staff were fantastic and the whole cafe sang happy birthday to myself and another guest. Great value for money and the normal food choices looked fantastic as well .. restaurant quality I?d say.
