“We stayed at Ednam House this past Monday, and it was absolutely wonderful. We were attending an event nearby, so staying at Ednam was an easy choice thanks to its ideal location. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were taken by its authentic Scottish charm. The team gave us a warm welcome, and we checked into Room 3. The room made a great first impression – spacious, beautifully decorated with classic Scottish touches, and featuring a roll-top bath with stunning views of the River Tweed. One fun detail: the bathroom is hidden behind a discreet door. Inside, it’s roomy with a lovely rainfall shower and everything you’d hope for. We had booked our evening meal early, as we needed to be at our event later on. We chose dishes from the spring menu, and I can’t recommend the scallops, steak, and lemon tart enough – honestly, 100/10. The next morning, we went down for an early breakfast and were lucky to get a table overlooking the river. There’s a great mix of continental and cooked options, including a full Scottish breakfast with haggis. Before heading off, we took a stroll through the beautiful grounds and discovered the secret garden overlooking Rennie’s Bridge – a lovely suggestion from the General Manager, Kevan.”

“Dropped by for Lunch on the sunny terrace today. Our waitress Erin was brilliant, really attentive a real above and beyond experience. We had mackerel, beef brisket, chicken thighs, hisbi cabbage, tender stem broccoli all cooked to perfection on the BBQ. Checked out the other restaurants and the menus look to die for Would highly recommend this place”

“Have had such a nice stay. Room 209 was immaculate and quiet. Perfect for my 2 day stay. Had travelled up from Stoke-on-Trent to visit family in the area, and it's the second time I've had this room. Breakfast was excellent, and all the staff were happy and smiling and very welcoming. Really have had the perfect break. I'd certainly stay here again.”
