“Perfect overnight stay, to explore Kelso. Comfortable bed and a warm shower, in a characterful hotel, right in the heart of the city. A very warm welcome at check in, with great sightseeing tips by the hotel owners too. If you’re traveling by bus, this is the most convenient place to stay, as the bus drops you off near the front of the hotel entrance, and the bus depot is just behind the hotel. It was an enjoyable stay, with all the essentials for a brief visit to this beautiful town. “Didn't stay at this hotel, but ate here on three evenings whilst staying elsewhere. It's a limited menu, but what we had was excellent and at a reasonable price. Friendly staff as well.”

“We absolutely loved our stay at the Roxburghe for my birthday. Grounds are beautiful, the spa was clean, comfortable and stylish. The hotel seems very well designed. We had a very tasty and filling breakfast at 10am which kept us going until 6pm! Would highly recommend. We went elsewhere for dinner but the restaurants looked lovely.”

“Located in centre of town but totally peacefull with views over the river. Superb quality food and service from friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Dinner quite expensive and small, but super quality and presentation - not everyone likes to feel full like me after a meal :)”
